Salsas Grill Of Harrison

Im from south Texas and im used to great Mexican food on every corner and also my moms. So when i travel out of Texas i avoid any Mexican restaurants. But I have to admit the hot sauce had good flavor and not hot at all. But my level of hot is different than normal person. I got the mocajete it looked bland , but once I mixed it up the sauce it was good. The beans and rice were good better than I expected. I only had one problem ,I like handmade flower tortillas not store bought. So I just got old faithful corn tortillas. If I ever come by this way I would definitely stop here again.

Gladys was an outstanding server, even though they were busy. With a party of 10 we all had different meals without a single disappointment. Reasonable prices, and great margaritas.

We had a great time. The service was terrific. We had a group of 12 and they did super of getting our orders and everything came out quickly and correct. The Margaritas were delicious also. Would recommend

Me and my cousin have loved salsas for their good service and food and had chosen it as our go to Mexican restaurant for awhile now. Recently we had an experience there where our waiter seemed just fine though-out our time there but when it came time to settle up at the end of our meal he was given a 100$ bill to pay for the meal which was 43$. The tip was already on the table by the time he got the money. He came back 5-6 minutes later with 47$ with comes up to a total of $90. At first thinking it was a simple mistake we waited on him to come check up on us. But we never seen him again despite him being all over the floor before that. So we called over another guy to relay our issue. Immediately upon telling him he already knew what happened and our waiter came back to the table. His first answer to our problem was “sorry we don’t have exact change” which is not a big issue but him knowing that meant he knew we were short 10$ and was just gonna try to get away not giving us the money. And after him saying this he pulled out his money out of his apron and gave it to us. Meaning he did have a way to make change. That to me is thievery rather than an honest mistake. I know they don’t get a lot of people but stealing is no way to make up for that and is why I’m leaving this review. Also the first thing he did as soon as we got up from the table is to run and grab the tip that was given I guess to make up for the $10 he had to give back up. I know 10$ isn’t much but of this is a reoccurring problem then how much has he taken before. I won’t be coming back for awhile

Always good service and good food

Good food, liked the sauces on the enchiladas and great sides. Colorful decor, mostly clean restaurant, bathrooms need some attention and doors that actually latch. Service was good and food came out fast.

Came up here to eat only to find out they have a sign posted on break open back at 4

Sorry in advance about the long post.
First we waited about 10 minutes to be sat and when we were finally sat they had no menus available. My friends ordered drinks and apparently the bar didn’t have the ingredients needed for the drinks and instead of saying anything they just substituted the items with something that had nothing to do with the drink order. When I ordered no onion or tomato, but when my food came out it had both diced onion and tomatoes. When I told the waitress there was no apology she took my dish and brought it back with most of the onion scrapped off but still all the tomato in it. There were also substitutions on our dishes that we weren’t informed of even when they brought the food out. Finally when we informed the waitress about all the mistakes again there was no apology and a response of don’t tell me tell the kitchen staff. As if we could go back into the kitchen. This has got to be one of the worst places I’ve ever eaten at!!
