This could be a nice restaurant but it is in need of a deep remodel and upgrade. Some of the buffet items were dried and not hot .. Definitely in need of a thorough deep-clean.

China Garden in Highland is a great spot for a satisfying meal! The buffet has a lot of tasty options, and everything was delicious and surprisingly affordable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely worth coming back for another visit!

We frequent this establishment at least every 4-6 weeks, we have nothing but praise for this place. I read reviews where people complain about freshness, well it’s a buffet some items may not turn as quickly. The people are fantastic, always takes very good care of us and it’s always clean with a huge variety of entrees and desserts!! Love the place, we gladly travel the 30 minutes to get there!!

The food was cold, and flavorless. There were fruit flies everywhere all over the food. One fly even landed in our food while eating. The selection is very small, and the price was still $31 for two.

The food is eh not the freshest. I ate at a chinese buffet in mountain home that had pretty much the exact same dishes. I was surprised to find there food was so fresh tasting not chewy at all. I wish this place would do a little better. Alot of the dishes are old tasting. Also my husband always gets the shrimp and the last few times he's gotten spoiled shrimp. The sushi looks terrible just thrown together and put out there. Eggrolls are so salty. Noodles are dry.On the plus side if you order off the menu the foods fresh and worth it but it's pricey.

My family of 4 went here today for mothers day lunch 2025 and some of their food was so so, the rest was hardly edible(chewy, stringy)....but the price was ridiculous for 2 adults and 2 children. They charged us $79. We could have went to a way better place for that price! Anyway, Chinese food isn't as good as it used to be and prices are insane!
