If you like good smoked meat, avoid this place. Not an ounce of smoke flavor or a single smoke ring to be found. I had the pulled pork and ribs and the were both cooked in the oven. Ribs were pure mush with no bite or texture. Pulled pork was stringy and flavorless. Baked beans and potato salad were good, but the meat was horrible. Won't be back.

I went through the drive thru. It took forever I sat at the speaker waiting for about 3 minutes before I was acknowledged. The car behind me started blowing their horn at me. I ordered ribs and the texture was terrible.

Got 2 sliced brisket sandwiches and they took 3 slices and cut them in half for both sandwiches. I understand brisket is high but when there’s more bread than meat for that price it’s ridiculous. The one in ashdown and in Texarkana don’t do this. The Big Jake’s in hope is 1 star. Definitely won’t go to that one ever again.

Everything is great, the ribs the brisket, sausage, fried orka and who ever seasons the complimentary pinto beans needs a raise asap, cause those with some cornbread hint hint would be a meal!!!!!!!!! Highly recommend
My wife and I purchased the family pack yesterday. Not only was it over priced, but the quantity has shrunk. Their large is now pint size and they didn’t even fill it up to the brim of the container. Their large used to be larger in volume. What’s worse is they gave us moldy bread. A package of 8 buns and 3 of them were moldy. We will never be eating here again nor will my company be ordering food from them for our monthly parties we host.

I stopped by 2 get 4 pounds of chopped pork for my family that was coming in from San Antonio I lost my husband he just passed away and has not been buried and it was just on a spure of the moment i stopped by, there was a very rude woman in the back that was saying That big of an order needs to be called in. Maybe your employees need to realize that people may come in after a great loss and a kind word or smile might make a difference in their day. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN YOUR BUSINESS AGAIN.
