Great food and tasty sauces. We had a fried peach pie for dessert, and it was also really good. Sadly we aren't locals, but if we come this way again we will stop by.

We must have gone during a slow period because this place was so good it's hard to believe it wasn't packed. Stopped in for an early dinner, and the food was great for a family of 6. It was not expensive at all, and the service was awesome. Great team y'all have.

Parking: Tons of parking. Free.

Food is good to very good, depending on what you get. The only reason I didn't put a five is because some food is better than others. Might just be a taste difference thing.

Not my first time at big Jake’s. It’s a fairly good bbq place. Not award winning IMO tho their walls display some ribbons and plaques, that may have been something special but not their everyday bbq. I had small brisket plate, slaw and Mac n cheese , and their self serve pinto beans bowl. Brisket was tender, I just prefer more bark and seasonings, Mac n cheese was sawdust bland and unsavory, slaw was ok but not my preference. I like a sweeter KFC type. The pintos were probably the star of the show. I did try a fried peach pie which was expired in my opinion. They should cook them to order. Might’ve enjoyed a fresh hot pie but at 4.00 and some change for a softened dough pie not hot isn’t worth it. I might sound harsh but I’m truthful. I give them a weak 3 stars leaning towards 2. Even the fries would be great but they to were served expired imo, I expect and want my fries of any kind fresh and frying grease hot, not limp, grease saturated and Luke warm.

Good atmosphere. But in food 3/10.
All cold fries meat All cold. I really didn't like it at all. You pay a high amount of money to vote for food.
