Clean restaurant and friendly staff. The fried pickles were just awful. Don’t know why, but they were really tough. They were very hot and fresh though. The fried okra was cold and tasted burnt. Really disgusting. The fried chicken was good, and the French fries were hot and fresh. Probably won’t be back to this location.

Down with Family visiting in Hope. We were all hungry for some good Southern comfort food. First time here, and the staff is absolutely fantastic! The chicken tenders are some of the best I’ve ever had at a fast food restaurant. The fried catfish, hush puppies, jalapeño peppers, and okra were absolutely tasty! Wish they’d open up one of these in the Midwest.
Parking: More than enough spaces to park.
Kid-friendliness: Looks to be all ages.

They call themselves “Chicken Express” yet they can’t make chicken as tasty as Raising Canes or Chic fil a. If they used better quality cooking oil and breading with seasoning, the food would taste a lot better.
Ironically their fried fish fillet was delicious and a lot better than their chicken. They did me dirty serving me cold chicken strips, the kitchen staff needs to work on timing meal items to be hot. First in, first out for meal orders.
The cashier was extremely kind, no problem with her, she was professional.
The okra was also a pretty tasty item. Besides the chicken, the food was good. But it ticks me off they call it Chicken express and they sell chicken that doesn’t taste good.
The rolls were stingy small.

Over $18 for 7 tenders, fries and a drink. I also get a side of jalapeño poppers, and when I get back to the room, the poppers are coated in sugar. I left my drink there because they don’t have the proper sized lids for the cups. The girl in the kitchen on the food line was talking on her cell phone putting orders together with no gloves, no hair nets…left her drive-thru earpiece and cell phone on the food line when she was done with her call.

My family and I decided to dine in at this establishment and I wish we hadn’t. The food was mid at best it had no seasoning and barely crispy (we got fish and chicken) the Mac and cheese pasta was so overcooked that it was literally falling apart and the green beans were horrible. My family also received their order and finished eating before my food arrived! People that came in after me were receiving their food before me, I finally went to the counter and asked that my food be placed in a to-go box because we couldn’t stay. There were only two workers and they did the best that they could so I give them credit for that but, for the reasons stated above I will NEVER return to this establishment!!
Arrived at 330 pm and waited 15mins for them to say the grease wasn’t hot and they needed 20 more mins to cook chicken… Grease not hot in the middle of the day…Manager is rude and needs a course in customer service.
