I tried this restaurant for the first time. I had the enchilada dinner which for me was 3 ground beef enchiladas covered in a red sauce. They were some of the best enchiladas I have eaten!! Chips and salsa were also very good. Service was friendly and very nice. Would definitely eat here again.

The waitress was nice,but the food was so bad,my drink was flat that I had to just leave it all. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all.

Food was great. We ordered the special tamale dinner/lunch which was $8.99. When bill came waitress asked if she could add 25% which was a little high but my husband said okay without looking at the bill. When we received the receipt it was $38. I asked how it could be $38 for two people but she didn't understand? She didn't give us the special and charged us $13.99 ea and we had tea. Seems kinda pricey for a hole in the wall at lunch. Food was good but we won't go back.

Good food with exceptionally pleasant service. The menu is smaller than some Mexican restaurants, but their items are authentic and tastier than other Mexican restaurants in town.
We have been looking for good Mexican food since moving from Texas and Vilma's definitely delivered! The salsa and tomatillo sauce are great. The tacos, tamales, and enchiladas were all excellent. Service is quick and friendly. We will definitely be back often.

First visit to Vilma’s today. Wonderful Chicken Enchiladas with amazing rice! Chips and Salsa were awesome! Salsa had just the right amount of heat and full of flavor. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

This is a great little local place. The food is excellent and the service is wonderful.If you're in the mood for Mexican food come a highly recommend you stop in and give this place a try when you're in Hope.. It's right downtown.

My husband and I moved to the area recently and I have been trying new places. This is authentic, homemade, delicious food and I'll definitely be returning. The woman making my food, who I can only assume is Vilma, is also extremely polite and explained in detail different things on the menu. I can't wait to try her suggestions as I continue to visit her establishment.
