The Beehive was a very pleasant unexpected surprise. We were looking for a casual place to get a good meal, drinks, & maybe listen to some live music without having to leave HSV. We assumed this would be a tall order and would have been happy with 2 of the above. Check, check, check, and check. 4 for 4. This gem was 5 minutes from the house we were renting. There was a steak special, yes please!! The steaks were prepared perfectly and were delicious. We are craft beer people...
You will be hard pressed to find a better place to enjoy some good food and music! The recent change in ownership has resulted in a much improved/healthier menu choices. The cobb salad and smoked chicken croissants are well presented and delicious.The level of service is excellent; from the owners down. Please keep in mind that during live band performances the wait and bar staff will be maxed out; so try to keep it together and realize that prep times will negatively impacted....
We were there for a St Patrick's dinner and music event. Our party of 7 had a great time, the music was awesome, and the service and staff were fantastic. I'm giving food 2 stars because 3 of us had the fish n chips, and we all were so disappointed. There was heavy breading and hardly any fish...it was all fried breading. The chips were really good. I just wish the fish was actually a part of the dish, especially for $16 price tag.
