Atmosphere is great, but drinks mediocre and way too expensive

Travis Wisely

Low quality ingredients, perfunctory service, high prices. Pretty typical for a HSV restaurant.

Beef po’boy was tough and flavorless. Shrimp po’boy was decent but not worth $16. No burgers. No beers on tap. The “bartender” was more interested in chatting up her friends than dealing with our order. Two of our party received their food 15 minutes before the last person in our party, and when we went to ask about it, the bartender said “You ordered separately, don’t you remember?” Weird, since we paid in one transaction at the counter.

Deck is beautiful, however.

Delicious food (try the Tuna bowl) and fabulous drinks. Amazing view of Lake DeSoto! And the best staff in HSV!

Enjoyed lunch on the deck overlooking the marina/lake! Great service, unique menu, yummy food, clean bathrooms. Highly recommend the chicken salad. Come check it out!

This is a cool little spot. Spent an evening hanging out, drinks, live music, and right on the lake. It actually has a nice view over the lake and to the mountains.

It looks like a snack bar set up in a storage building. Service was great, yet the food...was food. No flavor. We don't need to return.

Parking: Ample parking even if there's a lot of people there

Kid-friendliness: Adele for families looking for an afternoon out. There's a swim Beach within about a hundred yards of it, on lake desoto

Wheelchair accessibility: It's kind of a small place, and the space is tight but I watch them make accommodations for a wheelchair bound person, and someone on a walker.
