What a pleasant surprise to find in Imboden, AK. The food is authentic and delicious. The owners are from Mexico and decided to place themselves in an off the beaten path, small town in Arkansas bringing their family recipes to share with the folks around them. The chips and homemade salsa ? so fresh!
It's not cheap, and it's not expensive. The salsa is fire ? (not spicy, just good). You're not getting tender cuts of steak, nor are you going to get soft tortillas.. but despite chewing a bit longer, you'll enjoy the food and the atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and the food isn't bad.
We had the best Mexican dinner experience ever! From the food, service, atmosphere... everything was a five-star on a quiet Sunday night.The fresh tortilla chips, salsa, guacamole, and my vegetarian fajita were delicious. The portion was big with a variety of fresh cooked vegetables, including grilled pineapple. Every time I will go by, "Casa Lopez Mexican Grill" will stop by again! The price was fair, and I would say it was very affordable.
