I love small “hole in the wall” type of diners! They are so nostalgic for me. I have ordered take out here twice during the breakfast hours! Upon arrival, I was greeted with smiles and did not have to wait. My food was great! I had French toast, eggs scrambled hard, hash browns, and an order of bacon and sausage. Loved it all!

Great food, great prices, great service! I would definitely recommend! We're from out state and grabbed breakfast before getting back on the road. The parking lot is not really built for large trucks/duellys, and definitely not able to accommodate trailers of any kind!

Tried this place on a whim Our server was excellent , food was good but they forgot the burger toppings on mine and forgot cheese on my friends patty melt . Onion rings were amazing! Decor very outdated . I’d go back to try breakfast maybe

Anytime I am in Jacksonville, I always make a stop at Emily's Diner. It's pretty much tradition now. It's a classic diner. It's not fancy, but it will still deliver delicious food. I usually get a breakfast plate of 2 sunny side up eggs, hashbrowns, toast and bacon, but this time I decided to switch things up and just get a simple BLT and hashbrowns. It was just as yummy as my usual. Emily's Diner will give you exactly what you expect- home cooking away from home.

Food was great. Don’t be deceived by the exterior. Everyone was super friendly service was great. I had the catfish which was very good. My husband had the chicken fried steak with fried squash and okra and our friend had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and okra. We came with our church senior group about 35-40 people. The music was kind of loud we asked for them to turn it down and they were very fast to honor our request.
Every time we go into Emily's Diner the staff is very pleasant and understanding that my Mother has dementia.. I appreciate them so very much.. I have enjoyed everything that I have ever eaten there..

I like to keep my reviews true to the purpose of what I got there for. So for me to go looking for a amazing, home style type breakfast, this place gets 5 stars. The food was wonderful. Came out hot. Had the deep southern 'everything is better with butter' flavor. Our waitress was not as personable as I would have expected but she was efficient at her job. The atmosphere and decor was very much lacking and all over the place. Nothing really matching and made you take a look around while wondering if there is anything good that is gonna come out of the kitchen. Definitely needs updating. But the food. Man, the food was so delicious. That's all I could ask for.
