My brother and I went for lunch and we both ordered the 3 piece catfish dinner. The fish was fresh and hot, as were the fries and delicious hush puppies. I love that they offer sliced onions and tomato relish with your meal also. The service was prompt and extremely friendly. Our waitress never let our tea glasses get more than half empty.
If you love crispy fried REAL catfish, then this is your place to be! My baby shower was hosted here. Brandy and Tiuna were simply amazing! There were 50 of us and not one person had complaints!! This place has a superb reputation amongst central Arkansas residents! The only complaints I have received was afterwards in regards to why people weren’t invited to eat this food. Forget welcoming my baby girl. Why wasn’t I invited to eat “The Hook”. It’s satisfactory guaranteed!
The food is delicious. I recommend the Tour of The Pond. It includes 2 fried catfish filets, 4 fried shrimp, and 2 stuff crabs. Get the Pinto beans as one of your sides. The atmosphere is okay it is an open building with tables for 4 or long tables if you bring a crew. I'm sure you will enjoy.
