Cliff House Inn

Food and service have declined badly. Ordered a grilled chicken dinner and got a sawdust dry chicken nugget and some green beans on a plate. They literally took a chicken breast an cut it in thirds to make 3 dinners. Never did get a single iced tea refill. Was so disappointed as we had great meals here on previous trips to the area. Time to sell the business to someone new that wants to actually run a restaurant.

Oops—we found a gem!
We were just looking for a bite to eat, but this place—yummo! The menu was unexpectedly amazing, with flavorful options like ribeye on boudin, an alligator po' boy, and grilled Gulf shrimp—even our kids were impressed. You enter through a gift shop, and the dining area’s bay windows overlook the Grand Canyon of Arkansas. For dessert, we had the thick cookie sundae and sugar-free apple pie—they sealed the deal. Total surprise—and totally worth it.

If I could rate it a zero I would but I have to give it a one! I will tell you run while you can! The waitress was good but the owner was extremely rude! They charge 75 cents for a refill and $2 to change from mashed potatoes to French fries! My 12 year who is the size of a 8 year old was told by the owner she could not have a kids menu! All burgers cost more than $15 AND are not available after 4pm. My son wanted to change the sauces on his burger and the waitress had the ask the for the owner’s permission and he had to sign off on it! The food was not worth the price! I recommend going on to Jasper and eating at Ozark Cafe where the people are friendly and food is good!

Best view in Arkansas! Sitting on edge of the AR Grand canyon, the menu is very big and deverse. The staff was very friendly and informative about the area. Would and will go back many times!! 😁 Beautiful drive there also.

Delicious food and friendly staff.
The menu had something for everyone and plenty of food on each plate. The options included some favorites and several items that you can't find just anywhere.
If you need to wait for a table, the best place is out back where you have a perfect view of the Arkansas Grand Canyon. Definitely planning a trip back to the area to eat here again.

What a spectacular view. Try something with the bacon jam. There are a few unusual things on the menu. So good.

This is some of the best food I’ve ever had! The service was amazing, excellent views, and the food warmed my soul. The brown butter cake dessert is a must try. You can tell the owners put a lot of love into their craft. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and try this place!

We absolutely loved this restaurant!! The food was amazing!! I had the grilled chicken and it was delicious. My husband and son had burgers and my other son had catfish. Everyone was very impressed plus the view is so beautiful. The owner was working as well and he was so nice. We will be back the next time we come to this area.

Wonderful food choices that take a little extra time which allows for time to enjoy the view

Stopped for lunch and was so happy we did! Food was great. Loved the view. Ended up renting a cabin and it was perfect. My biggest compliment from the restaurant to the cabin would be every worker we encountered was friendly and helpful and made the whole experience that much better! 5 stars for every category!

Best local restaurant in the area! Also with a view you can't beat!
