Being able to eat and look over the canyon was great. They were out of the "Company's Coming Pie". I wish they had more hours of operation. Definitely look through the gift shop.
Went to the restaurant as part of our mini vacation to Jasper, AR. It is good southern style food. We had the Fried green tomatoes and fried shrimp for the appetizer and it was good, the tomatoes were fragrant and the shrimp was well cooked. My wife and I both ordered different kinds of Po-Boys. I tried the fried alligator po-boy and she had the fried catfish po-boy. They were both pretty good sandwiches the only complaint we had about them was that we had way too much sauce on...
I went here with 9 other HD riders for lunch, made reserrvations in advance. When we walked in there were only maybe 4 other people eating, our waitress got our drink order, brought them after a bit, and then took our food order, I tried the alligator sandwich and fries, It took awhile to bring all out food out and by then the restaurant was getting crowded. My alligator was ok, too much bread for the sixe of the meat, fries was the best part. I got my drink refilled one time...
