My mother and son went to try out this local place and was not impressed by the food or service.. my son had a coupon for a free kids meal he received for meeting his reading goal at school and upon giving them the coupon he was asked “ where he got it from “ I find that to be kind of a odd thing to ask a child? My son also told me that he and my mother had been trying to get staff’s attention multiple times with no luck. Seems overpriced and over hyped. They spent around $30 with a free kids meal coupon and they also bought two slices of pie, I had some that was left over it was good but considering the experience it wasn’t nothing we couldn’t have made at home. / since I cant reply to their comment I thought I should add.. see how rudely they Said my 10-year-old son I never said his age good for y’all. I’m glad maybe he told you his age and you remembered but sounds like You are trying to Insinuate that my 10-year-old Son’s opinion didn’t matter about his experience at your restaurant, But we all know kids are the ones who tell the truth and for a child to get in the car after going out to eat and first thing they say is “ Wow, mom, they wasn’t very nice” tells it all. Also the new owners have been here about 10 months as you can see that’s when the google reviews went down.. ALSO TAKE YOUR Coupon issue up with England School District.. why would anyone forge a coupon for a kids meal! Get real! Maybe a A piece of pie though 😂 I hope this company continues to get the business it deserves. Also I hear Julie’s creations in England just a few miles down the road is really good 👍🏼

Love the pies! We had the coconut and the buckeye pies. Fruit pies only on the weekend. And nephew had the strawberry cake. All excellent. Should have taken a photo, but go to their Instagram page - lots of photos of their mile high merengue pies! We split the sandwiches. Half plus pies was plenty of food.
We've been hearing great things about Charlotte's for years and finally got to visit ourselves. All the hype was true. Their pie was unbelievably delicious (we tried the wonderful Buckeye) and we enjoyed two excellent sandwiches too: grilled pimento cheese and Charlotte's Choice with smoked turkey, ham, avocado and more. Service couldn't have been better. Looking forward to our next visit.

Stopped here with my coworker today and it was not the same as it was with the original owners. I use to go with my mom and my aunt as a kid growing up. But the lady they have working the front is not the nicest and very rude. When i asked the flavors for the cake she never looked up and pointed to the board and said go look at it when I came back and said strawberry she rolled her eyes and said PIE I literally just asked the cake flavors why would I want pie. After I gave my order she snatched the menus from me and my coworker. We sat and waited for I know a good 30 minutes. My coworker stated she was ready to go so we left with no food which is fine cause I would not want to spend my money where it is not appreciated.

Great atmosphere! Order dessert first? Yes, I did! It was perfect! Kesa was an incredible host and our brand new waitress was amazing! Would we come back? Planning on going back and trying dinner next time!
I had heard such great reviews about their desserts from a lot of people. I brought a friend with me who loves desserts to try them out. Her cake was very dry (the James brown) but mine was good. We tried lunch and a few desserts but we were not as impressed as we had hoped. We will probably not be back.
