Nice little place with really good food. We had a cheeseburger, pulled pork sandwich and brisket sandwich, and fries. The BBQ items were tasty and not full of fat. Reasonable prices. The guy here was super nice. We would come here again.

I was surprised. The food is great. The pulled pork, mashed potatoes, fries…all of it. I had the Sweetpea Special with baked beans and pulled pork over fries. If you’re at the lake then stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

We are regular at Sweetpea’s when we’re in the area. They have excellent barbecue, plus most other American foods. For example, yesterday I took three teen guys with me. One ordered something chicken fried, another ordered a bacon cheeseburger, and the third ordered a hot dog. I’m the only one who ordered a BBQ potato loaded with coleslaw, red onions, tomatoes, jalapeños, and more.They make them to order. Give them a try if you’re in the area. They do breakfast too and will be open on July 4th.

We came to this area to go to the Crater of Diamond State Park and found this little gem instead of a diamond. We ate every meal here during our stay and every meal was amazing!! The owner's were super friendly and put in lots of hours and love into what they do! I highly recommend this restaurant if you get a chance to eat here!
