Nanny's Kitchen in Lake City for a Friday lunch. Great food, the owner and staff were both friendly and helpful. It really did feel like sitting down at the family table. Everything tasted fresh and had to wait just a minute for everything to cool down enough to actually eat. The portions were large and tasted great. We took enough home for another meal. Forgot to take a picture of the dessert that came with it. Two fish plates with dessert plus drinks was $28. Definitely worth the cost and if you don't live close, driving out there. They have daily lunch specials and can do dine-in or take out and even delivery ( no idea what the boundaries are for that).

Ordered the daily special (Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans and a roll) with a drink and fried chocolate pie. Not a single bite went to waste and it was incredibly delicious. Couldn’t believe I had worked in LC so long and never tried it! I will definitely be back to try more food! ❤️

My husband and I had breakfast at Nanny’s Kitchen today and it was amazing. A full breakfast. Glenda is a wonderful cook. She is cooking special orders for the holidays, so ladies if you need some help with the holiday meals just contact Mrs. Glenda.
