Quaint little hole in the wall but definitely worth stopping by! Best tamales I've had in a restaurant by far! They are wrapped in twine over the shucks to keep them neat and tidy while driving home if you can keep from opening that container on the way.

Rhoda's Daughter was so welcoming in explaining the menu and history behind this place. Food was amazing, ribs fall off the bone, chicken crispy and juicy. The place makes you feel right at home. Thank you for the wonderful food !

Don't let the outside of this place fool you. The hole in the wall is the best food!!!! We stopped for lunch and wow the tamales are the best I have ever had. My wife got the lunch special smothered chicken with rice beans and cabbage. Then yes we had to have dessert to go and it was ok. It's all about the main course here.

The most yummy tamales, but if you want to take home a dozen, you might need to call ahead. Also, for full pies, you must call a day ahead. The best is either chocolate and pecan or sweet potato pecan. Can’t go wrong with this place!

We visited the Saturday before Memorial Day. The lady behind the counter was very RUDE. We asked for tamales and were informed that they were sold out and had been since that morning. They weren't busy so that wasn't the cause for her treatment. We left disappointed and frankly disgusted. I'm not sure if we would try to go back or not.Robin Pruitt, Judsonia, AR

We ate her out. Could not get enough, and we got a personal visit from the chef.

This place is a gem. Don't be intimidated by how it looks from the street. Get the burger, prepped on a very well-seasoned griddle, melts in your mouth. And don't skip the banana pudding, best I've ever had.

Maybe you're traveling to Biloxi or Ocean Springs, MS like I was and make this great find... Be sure to but Rhonda's Famous Hot tamales on your route! It's The best soul food stop in the state! This place has Loads of character that makes the great food even better. They serve lunch buffet style and scoop up pork chops, chicken, and tamales with several side dish options. So tasty !

Want some good ole soul food? Just off 65 highway in a little run down looking shack with historical memorabilia inside. Fresh cookings for a reasonable price and awesome service!!! Today's offerings were fried catfish, hushpuppies, potato salad, okra, beans, corn, fried chicken, spaghetti, cornbread, & pecan pie! Yummy! Cash only so plan accordingly.
