The ribs were undercooked and tough, as well as the tough and semi-dry brisket. Not enough seasoning or salt either. All meat including the dry pulled worked, lacked flavor. Service was good. There is no indication that these meats are smoked. Definitely not within a smoker.

My first time. I had the lunch special, loaded baked potato. It was less than warm. Didn’t care for the vinegary bbq sauce either. Maybe if the potato had been on the warmer side with some butter and more than a small spoonful of pork it would have been fit to eat. I ended up bringing it home, not even eating it there. And the Mexican corn… can corn with mayo with very little spice is not Mexican corn. Sorry Poppa, most likely my one and only visit. My 30 something bucks wasted…

Almost missed it, but this is a hole in the wall awesome place to eat. The food was legit, the folks running it were nice as can be. Definitely will be back!
I stopped here with my wife and youngest son for something different and was very satisfied!! I got the Big Nasty, my wife got the brisket sandwich with two sides, and my son got the loaded nachos which were all very good!! The big nasty was piled high with a yummy combination of pulled pork and slaw all covered with beans and BBQ sauce, two words... Freaking Awesome!!! The hot link was perfect and honestly wished I had a pile of just the hotlinks right now. I highly recommend stopping by and taste the greatness that is Big Poppa's!!!
