Even though I ordered the catfish my mother got barbecue and they were both delicious along with the sides and they prepared the food very quickly and it was still hot when we got home and were able to enjoy a beer while we waited for our food. The staff was very friendly and very attentive to any means.
Will definitely be back soon. Yummmmmmm

Had to wait 30 min for a simple BBQ sandwich and they weren't busy at all. Sandwich was really but service sux. Cmon Rodney yall can do better

Very very disappointed. We went in and got a seat had to wait over 15 minutes for anyone to even notice that we were there. Then we had to wait for our drinks they got mine wrong. I also had to ask if we could order our food other tables had to wait over 10 minutes for anyone to take their order. We had to wait over 45 minutes to get our food a special and chicken strips I figured that would be 2 of the food items that would not take long to make. There were no more than 25 people in the restaurant. A group of men came in and they needed a bigger table they had to sit at a table that had trash on it TRASH and no one came and got it till they moved the trash to another table. In summary if you are on lunch break don’t come here because you will be late for work. This is not the first time this has happened to me personally.

I am from Texas and very snobby about me Barbecue! I found this little out of the way, unassuming barbecue joint, not too far from my work and visit it several times a week. The brisket is fall apart melt in your mouth and the pulled pork has just the right amount of smoke and season. Hands down, the best barbecue in Baton Rouge. Make the drive and give this place a try. You will revisit it when you get that mouth watering barbecue craving!

I had the two piece catfish and it was very very good. The staff were friendly and helpful and made it great eating experience. Would definitely return.
Had the BBQ sampler platter and while everything was perfectly cooked, the meat had little to no flavor. It was juicy and fall apart tender but I am at a loss to explain how you can possibly smoke meat to that level of doneness and not have any smokey flavor. All I can really say about the BBQ was that it wasn't terrible. But in a town with outstanding food on every corner, I likely won't be back.
