Burge's Hickory Smoked Turkeys and Hams

Large portions. Great food.

I ate here a few years ago and it was good, but I didn’t realize until recently the history and excitement of this classic place hidden away in little bitty Lewisville, AR. I decided to stop again for their classic turkey sandwich, and apple pie which were incredible. I’ll be back again the next time I’m passing through.

From Ohio on my way to Louisiana to see my sister and stumbled across this place. Best burger I've had in years!

I love this place! I usually order on the phone and come to pick up. They are so nice on the phone and take orders accurately. The food is great. It’s my number 1 go-to place for a burger and fries.

If you are headed in any direction that includes a possible detour to Burges, take it and stop for a meal. I'm 69 and started going to Burges while attending Southern State College in Magnolia (1974)! That's 50 years! My family gets a smoked turkey and ham (bone in) shipped every Thanksgiving/Christmas. If you get to go there, get the hot links or a BBQ plate and classic Texas toast. Sit in the cool red leather booths and enjoy a bit of the Southern charm. We are 500 miles away now and truly miss Burges!

This is such a cool vintage dairyette. The smoked turkey salad and fried peach pie were delicious. 2nd time here and it for sure won’t be my last.

DAWG! This place is a hidden gem. If I wasn’t a truck driver I would’ve never discovered this place. Not only was the food ASTOUNDING! The service was good, the food was served hot fresh and well seasoned. I did not know they got down like this in Arkansas. If I’m ever in this area again I will be back fasho!!!!!
