Burge's has a variety of different foods to choose from which should satisfy everyone's pallette. It's home cooking at a little faster pace. The food is always cooked when ordered so it's always fresh. The service is good, and for the most part, the workers are pretty friendly. It is a little more costly than some other places, but you get your money's worth in the amount of food you receive.
My aunt says when she was in high school in 1954, she and her friends used to drive 50 miles round trip to eat at Burge's. It's still worth the trip. The decor is delightfully frozen in the fifties and the food is outstanding, though it took a little while to arrive.
