I’m a fan of this country grocery styled eatery in Phillips county Arkansas. There aren’t many restaurants there but this one has great hand patted burger served fresh off the grill. If you find yourself nearby and want a good burger, give them a try.

It was our first time dining at Southern Outdoors in Barton, and we had a great experience. The place is inviting, offering a variety of food options, including freshly sliced fruits. They prepare sandwiches and pizzas upon order, ensuring everything is fresh and hot. There's also ample parking available on the side of the store, which adds to the convenience.

Couldn’t find a decent place to eat and we came upon this place that we give it a try. It was Friday night and I had a seafood cookout. I had the crab legs which came with corn potatoes, and sausage. The flavor was to die for ! They also had pan full of crawfish. I did have it, but it looked delicious.

Ordered 2 bags of live crawfish early in the week, they told us to be there by 6 on friday. Got there (an hour drive) to be told they were shorted on crawfish and they didn't get ours. No phone call, no anything, so a drive and 2 hours off work for nothing, yet they continued selling crawfish at the restaurant. So basically, they just didn't give us ours. Oh well, could've had a great new customer as we host numerous boils throughout the season and purchase 3-4 bags usually. Will never try them again.

Work trip out of town from Nashville. Ate here two days in a row and the ladies working were so nice! They work hard in there, it is the go-to place in the area it seems like, so they have plenty of orders to fill but got our food out reasonably timed and tasted excellent! Again, service was great and the place has a home town feeling to it! Items I had that I recommend are the Philly cheesesteak and chicken tender wrap with buffalo sauce :)

First thing first.. if a customer comes and say they want a sandwich similar to a BLT and ONLY want EGGS LETTUCE AND TOMATOES. That's being 100% SPECIFIC MEANING NO BACON ADDED. I WOULDN'T CARE IF I SHOULD HAVE SAID A EGG LETTUCE TOMATO SANDWICH BECAUSE ALL IT WOULD'VE BEEN JUST THAT PLAIN DRY SANDWICH WITHOUT MAYO TO IT. SO TO THE LADY WHO TOOK MY BOYFRIEND ORDER AND TIRED TO CORRECT ME OVER THE PHONE, THAT SANDWICH WOULD'VE BEEN DRY ASF WITHOUT THE CONDIMENT IF HE ONLY SAID A EGG LETTUCE TOMATOE SANDWICH. HE TOLD U EXACTLY WHAT THE ORDER WAS, WHICH A BLT ( WHICH MAYO COMES ON SANWHICH) WITH """ONLY"""" EGG LETTUCE AND TOMATOES. I DO NOT EAT MEAT ANYMORE. What a cute stop! I had a delicious burger, and the sunflowers and pumpkins were stunning. That being said, I waited an hour for my food. There were LOTS of people there when I visited (I think some school field trips). The ladies behind the counter were working extremely hard, but it was still an unusually long wait for a burger and fries. I’d definitely go back but would avoid if there were crowds.
Their breakfast and homemade ice cream are delicious ? We visit every time we are in that area!

Great place to get ignored. I have tried three times to shop here, and everytime I try, its a complete headache and I leave empty handed. I walk around there with my wallet in my hand and try to spend money, only to leave empty handed, save for the wallet filled with money.
Kitchen area is gross. So gross, I wont eat there.
Staff seem less than enthusiastic, and one can hardly blame them once you meet the people in charge. I tried for three months to buy a roll of wire mesh, being repeatedly told "come back in a few days/weeks" or "wait over there and someone will be with you" then twenty minutes passes and I leave out of boredom, or because of the principle of the thing, or else in defiant indignation caused by an empty promise of the opportunity to purchase what I need followed by the exact opposite of that.
Let my lack of a voice be heard. I finally ordered what I need online from Home Depot to be delivered to my house at no extra charge, saving me yet another trip to BFE to be disappointed once again.
I will never ever shop here again.

I made an order for a jumbo burger and another lady comes in saying, “we only have one size burger!” So I continued to go with the order. After she wrote it down she posted it with no thank you or estimated time it would be ready. My daughter decided she wanted I asked could I put another burger on the order, she didn’t say anything. I didn’t know if she heard me and she eventually grabbed the pad and added it like it was a problem. Before I feel like this in a restaurant, I will stay out!
