We love coming here, whether we're shopping for flowers for our home, need fishing tackle, maybe a jar or two of Muscadine or blueberry jelly, some lunch, or fresh homemade chicharonnes! The food is very good and reasonably priced, and they always have a nice crowd for breakfast and lunch. We drive for 40 minutes at least once a month to get our fill of whatever we need!Parking: Plenty of parking in the large graveled parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access may be a bit bumpy on the gravel, but it's concrete next to and in front of the building.

Wonderful service at a small town grill!TL:DRTypical small-town grill, nothing amazing about the food, but definitely nothing disappointing. The service is amazing, friendly and attentive.Details:I was here early in the morning driving through for a work trip. This place was rated highly and I needed breakfast. They have a limited menu, but all the basics, and I had some eggs, biscuits and gravy, and smoked sausage.Everything was edible, but not "like mama made it" kind of flavor. There was one woman covering the grill, and she was working quickly, but I can see how it would take a long time for an order during peak times, since they are cooking everything to order. The place is nicely kept, seating for 40 or 50 people and everyone was so incredible!I wouldn't go out of my way to visit, but if you are in the area and just need a solid breakfast, this one will do.

Found this place while out visiting State Parks. Best cheeseburgers, great atmosphere! We also bought some Amish salsa, chocolate and fresh produce. Great place all around!

At first glance southern outdoors looks like one of those hole in the wall places you just happen to find where every thing is good. Well that’s exactly what it was except better the food was amazing the service and staff were friendly and helpful and my favorite part was that they had everything and I’m talking from your favorite kind of homemade jelly to a green house and co op. Groceries, cafe, co op, green houses , bait and tackle this place just kept on amazing me!! To say the least I’ll be going back any chance I get!

Stopped by around 11 o'clock on Saturday morning to browse the garden center and then went inside the kitchen for lunch. Had a cheeseburger and fries with sweet tea and it was great. They were busy at the time, but ladies were friendly, attentive and fast. Will definitely be going back when I am in the area.

Stopped in to get a couple of sandwiches to go. While there I got some peach jam and some butter pecan pancake syrup - not your regular grocery store variety. Plus they sell a lot of other stuff - kinda like a nursery will sell (plants and such). Friendly staff and children approved. Wheelchair accessible.

Got a burger and fries today. It was really good and the people were nice and courteous. I always enjoy stopping there.

Would have been more but its expensive and you have to spend a whopping 7 dollars for a card!

Would be nice if was a bit faster to get checked out. Maybe people buying feed and bait could have a different register?

Great place to stop for lunch, lots of heirloom varieties of plants, great prices and a ton of different jams and jellies.

Best service and food in Barton. And the owners treat you like family even was my first time there. Love it.
