A black owned down home cooking establishment! If you love sweet heat, buy a bottle to take home. You won't regret it!! Mr Cheez has been a staple in the community for decades now. I recommend anyone give them a try and the southern hospitality for yourself
Brewster’s 2 Café has southern soul foods that make you think about your seasoned relatives sho could “burn” in the kitchen! From the delicious fried chicken wings, catfish, greens, candied sweet potatoes (yams), purple hull peas, fried okra, to the corn bread, baked chicken, grilled fish, and pink lemonade slushes, you can’t go wrong with ordering!

We were visiting from Texas and while near the capitol, decided to try some authentic soul food. They were very patient in explaining how to order ala cart entrees along with the meal menu. The fried catfish and pork chops took me back over 50 years in my grandmother's kitchen. Absolutely worth the wait! My go-to spot next time I come in town.
