We were very disappointed with our recent visit. This used to be one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, but sadly, the quality has gone down a lot.
The salsa with chips tasted like plain tomato sauce straight from a can poured into a bowl. We ordered cheese dip, and it was served cold with unmelted clumps of cheese. We had to ask for it to be reheated.
We also ordered two carne asadas. Both were very disappointing. The carne asada was overcooked and too crunchy, and the carnitas pork was served cold. The rice didn’t taste fresh, almost like it wasn’t cooked the same day.
We mentioned these issues to our waitress. She was very polite and explained that some of the regular cooks were off that day and a new cook was filling in. We understand that staff need time off, but we assumed there would be consistent recipes and standards for each dish.
This experience was far from what we expected, and it left us very disappointed. I truly hope the restaurant updates its recipes and focuses on maintaining the quality that made it a favorite in the first place.

For a place that is 1/4 mile from me, was surprised to find it! We ordered drinks and the fresh made Guacamole. Both were great! I recommend the guacamole! It came out quickly and just had great flavor. The food and service were both good too.

Had such a good dinner last night that I wanted to give this place a 5 star review. Food (carne asada tacos and shrimp quesadilla) was awesome, service was quick, and the balcony patio is always relaxing. Little bit of a hidden gem in West Little Rock.

I gave this 2 stars because the Guac was good. I went here with my family on Saturday. I wanted the shredded quesadilla, until the server told me it had ground beef (??), so I ordered enchiladas. It looked great. It was a plate of 4 enchiladas, one was bean, the next was ground beef, followed by cheese and chicken. I’ve never had an all bean enchilada up to this point, so that was interesting. The cheese enchilada was just a tortilla with cold shredded cheese in it. It had never even melted. The beef was pretty standard ground beef and taco seasoning. Unfortunately I didn’t really get a good taste of the chicken, because by the time o got to it, I just felt ill I attribute this to the COLD enchilada sauce (?) that was on top of everything, or maybe its because it was sweet, idk. My Fiancé ordered taquitos, they were dripping grease as he ate them he said they tasted fine, but were a little soft, and seemed more like undercooked flautas. My youngest got chicken tenders which was frozen breaded breasts, that were chopped and then cooked, they looked quite dry, and she refused to eat. My older daughter got cantina fries, and they looked amazing, She seemed to enjoy them, until she too started feeling unwell, likely due to the grease again dripping off of the fries. It looks like our quest to find good Mexican food in Little Rock continues.

Probably the best Mexican food in LR, IMHO.
If not, top 3 for sure. Great variety, great salsa (almost always the tell-tale sign if a mex place is gonna be good or not). Great margaritas (La Caminorita… mmmf, 👍🏼), and great sizes, be prepared to Uber if you go big!. And REALLY fast service.

Great atmosphere with plenty of staff to keep us filled up on anything we needed. I had the Polo Encremado and it was the best Mexican food I have ever had. My wife had the Shrimp Chimichanga and she said it tasted great. A definite stop next time we are in town.

I would check what you're getting charged they tax you twice then add a to go fee a meal for 11 dollars quickly turns into 15 and that's before the tip. Very dishonest
Once seated the waiter absolutely forgets you exist. All the wait staff waits by the bar but still misses when a customer needs a refill or any helpful tools
