Really nice place and the food was phenomenal. The wait staff was so sweet and seemed to have such great relationships with each other too and that really added to the experience.

Food was delicious, our server Alexis was great. We had a big group with a complicated ticket and he was really kind and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

They cancelled our online order over one Upcharge they didn’t know how to do or want to do. I even approved the extra fee. You’ll get an email you won’t notice. NO call from the restaurant or text from the service provider they use. You won’t know until you arrive, unless you watch emails constantly.

1 star because 0 isn’t a choice. Didn’t even get to try the food. We placed an online order for pick up because we live to far away for delivery. I arrived earlier than the scheduled time so I expected to wait a little bit. After about 5 minutes they brought me someone else’s food. After another few minutes a guy came to tell me they didn’t have any other orders. I showed him my confirmation screen shots and then he said he knew about the order but they didn’t make any of it. He said that because we weren’t charged for an upgrade to grilled chicken on 1 item we had ordered he had cancelled the entire 60 dollar order. We knew about the up charge as it says when ordering that there may be additional charges for substitutions. We even included in the notes that an up charge was ok. He refused to make the order even when I pointed out we already said an up charge for the chicken was ok, he just kept saying they weren’t going to do it. The guy was very rude the whole time for no reason acting like we were trying to get away with something because their system didn’t charge us for grilled chicken. I’m including screen shots of what it says when you order and of our whole 11 item order that was cancelled bc of 1 item. This is the last time I will ever attempt to eat at Cinco De Mayo. Do yourself a favor and get your food somewhere else.

About every 2 or 3 years we make the terrible decision to give this place another try. This time they decided to not even give us a chance to see if the food quality had improved since the last time. We placed an order for pick up and were given a 25 minute pick up time. I showed up 10 minutes early so I expected to wait a little bit. After 5 minutes they brought me the wrong persons order. After another 5 minutes they came out saying they didn’t have any other orders so I showed them the confirmation screen shots I had. Then he proceeded to tell me they had cancelled our whole $60 order because we weren’t charged enough for the upgrade to fajita chicken on one item. The instructions for that item even said an up charge was ok. It says under the item when ordering that additional charges may apply so we said ok. We were not informed our order had been cancelled till 15 minutes after I left the restaurant. Won’t be making the mistake of trying Cinco De Mayo anymore not sure why we gave them another shot in the first place.
We decided at the last minute to stop here for dinner. Immediately your eyes are drawn to the decor. Vibrant colors with a lot of wood accents. Once seated we immediately were served chips and salsa but no water. The salsa did taste fresh and had good flavor. The chips were a little more brown than normal but we continued on munching on them. We ordered two margaritas, one frozen and one on the rocks, Nice flavor and the right amount of tequila. My husband ordered the beef tacos and I ordered the crispy chicken burrito plus we ordered the guacamole for our appetizer. I'm not sure but the guacamole didn't have that homemade taste. It was a little too creamy with just a hint of avocado taste which was served with yet more brown crispy chips. The beef tacos were flavorless. Not a hint of spice but covered with cilantro and the crispy chicken burrito tasted as if it was fried in old oil. Not something you expected at all. Oh well we tried. On to the next

As a Californian, the Mexican food is Little Rock suckzzzzzzzz. But the molcajete is pretty great. Enchiladas are mid. Chips are great salsa does what it needs to. Atmosphere is stellar.

Ordered meal with grilled chicken, received beef. Got half filled bag of chips and a little salsa with $40 worth of food and cheese dip. Was not even enough chips for one person. When we called about the order mess up, Natalia gave about 10 different excuses with no sorry saying that WE ordered it wrong. Then we had to come back in just to get a refund with the “manager” Julio and he then made more excuses. Don’t waste your time and money.

I have not had a bad experience, until tonight. I ordered takeout. I waited over 10 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me. During that time I witnessed 2 different employees dig through two full trash cans with bare hands looking for a receipt. They then walked away with out washing their hands to pick up food that was being taken to customers dining in. When I got home our order was not correct and some items that were ordered and paid for were not received. This was a terrible experience.

The lady who sat us and our waiter acted as if we were an inconvenience. Our waiter took a smoke break for almost 15 minutes as we sat at the table waiting to order. The food was lukewarm, and my 6yo's food came out almost 10 minutes after ours. After receiving the bill, there were two different totals; one for cash that was cheaper, one for payment by card with extra fees. Do not recommend, for the area the service and food is garbage.

Ordered 3 A La Carte tacos with 2 being grilled chicken and 1 steak. The menu I was given had a price of $2.50 per steak or grilled chicken and I noticed that there was a $1 up charge per taco for flour soft shell. The waitress first brought 4 steak tacos even though she knew I had ordered chicken. The others in our group had already received their meals before the tacos were brought. I requested that she bring what I had ordered and she returned with 3 chicken tacos and 1 steak. I assumed the extra taco was gratuitous because of the restaurant's mistake. When the bill came, I noticed that I was charged $3 per taco for 4 tacos with a $1 up charge added for "flour soft shell" tacos. I informed her that I had not ordered 4 tacos, nor flour soft shell. She said 3 A La Carte tacos needed to be the same, which is why I was charged for the extra chicken taco and she thought I had requested flour soft shell even though I really just wanted the meat, cheese, and lettuce like I had requested. Furthermore, the menu made no mention of limiting the meat choice to 1 item and simply had $2.50 per grilled chicken or steak. I assumed the menu may have been outdated since I later saw an online menu with a price of $3 per taco but no mention of an up charge for flour soft shell. After complaining, the waitress returned with the same bill. A second complaint did result in the removal of 1 taco but nothing else. To say the least, I'll never return and I'm left wondering how many other customers have been defrauded by the restaurant!
Last week I ate here and had their steak nachos with a side of guacamole. Everything was good and they gave me a big portion of nachos. My only complaint regarding food is the nachos were a bit drippy, probably from the steak or veggies. It just means the bottom layer of chips will get soft pretty quickly and you'll have to use a fork.The service was NOT good. I had to repeat my order to the server cuz he was spacing out a bit. But the main problem came when he brought the check. He dropped off 2 different checks with different amounts. He didn't say anything, just put it on the table and left. I went up to the front to ask about this and he said he accidentally charged another table's food to my card, canceled that transaction, then charged my food to the card. It had already shown up on my bank statement as pending but did come off after 2 days. First off, he needs to be more careful. Secondly, he should have explained the mishap to me when he gave me the checks. Just poor service imo.

gave me horrible food poisoning and found undercooked chicken and skin in my shredded quesadillas :(. i’m still sick until today.
