We were driving through Little Rock and wanted to try a local place. The meatloaf was good and the pulled pork was good too(not fatty like some places!). They were out of lots of sides that sounded yummy, like baked squash or cornbread, at 1:30 so get there early if you want to try those. I liked the jalapeño cornbread but my husband wasn't a fan. We both thought the coleslaw was good. It is shredded very fine so if you like some oomph to yours pick a different side. The interior is quaint, ceiling is a bit dusty. The employees were nice too.

I always love BBQ and this was very good. Everyone was nice and friendly and they were very sweet about my husband's service dog who was with us. For sure would return.
I've not been here since 2014, but the meatloaf was perfect, and the sushi casserole was divine. It is such a solid place for comfort food.

The chicken fried steak was one of the specials of the day, so that's what I ordered. I was then told the cook was making deliveries, which I understand, we are living in an environment where good help can be difficult to find. They informed me that the cashier could make it but it would be a wait and asked if I still wanted it. Yes. Not a bad wait and the food was good. The baked potato salad was the best I've ever had.

Great spot for lunch!! It's the only place I cared to order the meatloaf from on more than one occasion. Everything I've ever had from this restaurant is absolutely amazing!!The jalapeno cornbread is a staple for me. I go there, they have other types of bread to choose from with your lunch. However, for me it's just a really cool item that is on the menu. It's not super spicy but it's a little different.The next time I go here I'm going to have to try their barbecue, it's supposed to be amazing. It is a cafeteria type style ordering system, you walk through. Just tell him what you want and they serve it up. They offer to go orders which is extremely convenient if you're running low on time. I do know that they cater also which is a huge plus if you have lots of hungry people. Better catch him before 2:00 p.m. cause they do close by then.
