I recently visited a Captain D’s location I hadn’t been to before, and I have to say—it was an outstanding experience from start to finish.
The star of the visit was Shirley, who absolutely radiated kindness, love, and genuine hospitality. She spoke to me, other customers, and her coworkers with such warmth and welcoming energy that it truly elevated the entire atmosphere. It’s rare to encounter someone who makes you feel like family the moment you walk through the door, and Shirley did just that.
As for the food—it was perfectly good. The taste and quality were far beyond what I’ve come to expect from Captain D’s in recent years. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served just right. This was, hands down, the best meal I’ve had from a Captain D’s in a long time.
Between Shirley’s incredible service and the top-tier food, this visit reminded me why dine-in experiences can be so special. I’ll definitely be returning—and I hope Shirley is there to greet me again.

Even one star is too much! I ordered the grilled salmon. They say it’s wild, cold salmon, but it looks clearly that it is a farm raised Atlantic Salman. Rice was very salty. Corn was rotten. And food is oily and not fresh.

It's ok food but portions are to small. The slaw is bland with no taste. The restaurant is outdated an needs updating inside and out.

No longer what they advertise!! The fish filets are more like pencil strips of fish I suppose they cut the filets now into thirds. Also was shorted a side with the meal and I ordered a side of okra it came in a small container that contained about 10-12 pieces of little fried okra and I paid $3.49 for it! What a rip off there is no way that baby container costs that dang much!!! Paid $3.49 for 2 stuff crabs that were only half stuffed it was quite sad looking really it used to not be that way! I will never return again! I could have gone to a sit down dinner restaurant paid less and would have gotten way more food!!! Never again! Would add photos but that crap went to the trash!

The general manager is very rude, tried to charge me again for something I paid for and forgot to give me, so I had to turn around and go back ...food was cold and I can see why she can't keep employees there bc she doesn't know how to talk to customers or her workers...I really like Captain D's but this one needs new EVERYTHING 🤬

We were at uams for my daughter and heard about this Capt Ds. The food was wonderful as was the service. Manager came to our table to make sure we had everything we needed. Appreciated the great service and food. The family from Rogers Ar.
