Visited this afternoon and had some good chicken carnita tacos. Was disappointed with the "street corn" or elote, way too watery and not a shred of cotija cheese. The only seasoning was a dash of tajin - would not recommend. Also tried their barbacoa taco - which was good, but the meat was in one huge chunk that made it hard to eat around. We stuck to the patio, and while it was dead - the service was very slow.
I love eating here. It's great Mexican food. Quiet. 2min from my door. And they actually have spices when you ask for them.It's a great place. Glad it's so close to me.
We’ve been coming here for years. You know you’ve found the best Mexican restaurant in the city when this is the place out of town Latino visitors come for food. Best tortilla soup in the world. Authentic Mexican style tortilla chips and salsa. The Dos Equis beer mugs are always frosty. Make sure to try the off menu specials. This isn’t a typical LR “out- the - can” Mexican joint like El Porton or a Tex mex place posing as a fake Mexican restaurant. It’s my favorite...
