Great fried chicken!!!!!!!
I wish I had photo evidence to further prove to you how amazing the brisket melt sandwich is, but my pregnant self did not hold out long enough before diving into the meatiest, most flavorful brisket sandwich, EVER! I made sure to dunk the sandwich into the delicious cheese sauce, giving it even more flavor, although when I ran out of the sauce, it was just enough on its own. Thanks, Cathead’s Diner, for making this pregnant mommas lunch dreams come true
The very best barbecue smoked ribs and brisket!!! Award winning!! Delish!!!
Wow. Amazing customer service, I will be back & recommend to anyone looking for a great restaurant in Little Rock!
Tasty, Hot, ready and fresh home cooking served buffet style with many pie options to choose from. Wear loose fitting clothing for comfort!!!
Fulfilling. If you're working and you want to eat lunch here...You will need a nap. I had the meatloaf, greens Mac & cheese, mash potatoes and corn bread. I was way too full, but you'll love it.
Great food. Heard you guys on The Buzz and just now got around to trying it out. Was not disappointed.
Food was amazing and very super surprising! I am a big critic when it comes to soul food especially greens! Most of the downtown area does not have good greens but this place had some good greens and they seasoned it so well. And oh my gosh let’s not get started on the tator casserole!! To die for! I’m a big dessert person and their peach cobbler and bread pudding was the bomb! What also made this place great was the service and the owner. Being an owner myself to a few restaurants, I understand the importance of being present and infront of the restaurant. Makes people feel good and happy they are talking to the chef!
Wonderful staff . Very friendly . Food was delicious and coconut pie was the bomb !!!
Great southern food perfect for a brunch outing. Ambiance was loud, but that’s as to be expected for a Sunday. My husband and I are both in the hospitality industry and understand how hectic it can be to work on a busy day. However, as this was our first time coming to dine we would have loved an explanation from our server on the process, instead she said something along the lines of, “go on up”. Would have loved to give it 5 stars, but the service was lacking.

Not only is the food amazing, we had breakfast and would recommend anything involving the sawmill gravy and the Bloody Mary. If you’ve been craving sweet tea, the real stuff, it took me back to sitting on my grandmothers porch.
I love this place. My favorite spot to go to when my boyfriend comes in town from Colorado. We love this place so much and joke around that we'll have the owner cater our wedding one day.
Came here for brunch today and service was 10/10. We loved the cafeteria style buffet and the mimosas were amazing. Sat and talked to the owner for a while after our meal and had the best time. Will be back again.
I was disappointed with our visit to Cathead's. The food was okay, it was the kind of quality I would expect for a chain restaurant. Very limited selection of food to try in the cafeteria line. Definitely NOT worth $22! Our server was excellent though, so that was nice. You can go to YaYas for brunch on Sundays and get a huge selection of excellent quality food for the same price. Bottom line, skip Cathead's try YaYa's instead.
Donnie Ferneau never fails to deliver. What a wonderful Sunday brunch Cathead's delivers. It starts with the friendly, welcoming staff. Then there is the fairly priced Fro-Mo or Mimosa (effectively $2.50) add-on to the buffet. And then the buffet. Oh my. Brisket, bacon, fried chicken, chicken tenders, grits, greens, pancakes, cooked to order eggs, peach cobbler, bread pudding, potatoes, salad, many different kinds of pies. Oh my. And that's just what I could fit on my plate! (JK!) All at a fair price.
