Chicken Salad Chick

Former worker for the chenal location (256) disgusting. Watch your drinks and food. Ive seen rats and roaches there as well. I wouldn’t eat there even having a free meal . If I could rate a zero I would. The owner (Emily) is the worst.

The chicken salad options are great and taste great! Not AMAZING but well above average! My issue was 100% their pricing! With such a small limited menu that all have the same base ingredients I’d imagine they could make these chicken salads for a fraction of the cost for me to make at home and none of their recipes are private and proprietary they’re all publicly available and made with basic everyday ingredients! So with them being made in such large batches and quantities I’d expect it to be more than it’d cost to make at home per serving even though it’s cheaper for them but they have overhead and staff to pay so a convenience charge of a few extra bucks is totally understandable and expected. But it’s a good 10-20x more than it’d cost to make at home. I mean how else would a brand new absolutely unknown company go from 1 store to roughly 400 in a mere few years unless they’re just charging the most they can for basic chicken salads that’s recipes are were made public by employees at the franchises. I’ll still occasionally splurge knowing it’s ridiculously overpriced but I won’t ever be a regular customer. I see this franchise as Crumb was and Crumbl has become! They became famous out of nowhere with thousands of locations but their pricing made their long term sustainability impossible which is why Crumb went bankrupt and Crumbl has closed 1000 locations thus far! While the stores are convenient and the product is great it’s wildly overpriced and I don’t see it lasting long as all of their recipes are public and it’s just a matter of time before other restaurants start to serve the same or extremely similar varieties in their respective locations! But depending on where you go most of the chicken salads they have you can already buy premade similar versions! Their “classic chicken salad” sandwich costs more for one serving than the rotisserie chicken salads Sam’s club sells and the only differences I can’t tell is chopped instead of shredded chicken, and CSC dices instead of chopping the celery. Their “fancy Nancy” is just the Arby’s Chicken salad sandwich with apples chopped and added. “Fruity Fran” again Arby’s recipe without pecans and with pineapple and apples. Their Cranberry Kelli tastes like a these premade little cups of chicken salad I’ve gotten at Walmart. Idk the brand but they have a few flavors it’s exactly like the only one with cranberry’s though. There’s a few others that didn’t really click with me personally because I don’t do buffalo sauce, onions, or basil so I can’t tell you where to find similar ones far less expensive already made but I’m sure it’s easy enough to find an equivalent that’s significantly less expensive! So while they’re excellent they’re not exactly breaking down walls and cooking up original recipes that are anymore unique than existing ones on the market you’re just way way over charging for the convenience!

The people working here don't understand their own menu and rung up my order incorrectly so I had to get a refund for the item I didn't want and in doing so I wasn't able to receive points on the app for the items I did pay for and they showed no incentive to even try to help come to a solution, besides the fact I saw them talking about giving away free food to a customer.

I tried the Bacon Cheddar Melt. It was good. Really good. I was pleasantly surprised. The Classic Carol could use a pinch of seasoning but other than that. It's a good sandwich.

Parking: Parking is a little tight and scarce. But there's other business and the parking lot is being worked on. Maybe expanded, not sure.

Ordered Cranberry Kelly with a croissant on the side. The croissant was inedible as it was BERY stale and hard.

Juan at the window was very nice. But when I got home the order was wrong, they gave me broccoli salad instead of chicken poblano soup. The crossaint was also very dry and hard.

Went through the drive through just to get the cookies. Unfortunately I we were disappointed because the cookies were not as good as when we had some that were catered.

The Fancy Nancy is fantastic! I also sometimes get the melt with Buffalo Barclay, which is also very good. And I always get the broccoli salad. So good.

Not at all worth the price. I got a "melt" that wasn't even warm. I don't think they make a single thing on site. The chicken salad is mostly mayo. Whatever chicken was actually in there was so finely ground it just became mayo-gruel. Everything here was mediocre while still costing $15.

My office ordered from here today on Door Dash and I am horrified and disgusted. Which is sad because we love this place for lunch. I took a bite into my chicken salad sandwich and PULLED out a foreign object. I don't know if it was wrapping or what. But I'm ruined. No one wants a surprise in their chicken salad sandwich.
