(This location has moved several blocks west to Markham). I rarely visit establishments in this segment - fast casual chains. Just not my thing. However, I'll go, if I'm invited and somebody is insistent. In this case, when I asked the inviter why she chose this restaurant, she said "for the irony." I get it. You probably don't. Anyway, this is a "new" location for Chili's, in that they moved a bit west from a location they had occupied for decades. So in that regard, it isn't "brand new," personnel should be used to the menu, systems, customer service and such. It's too loud. If one of the restaurants goals is to get people to linger at the bar, they ain't gonna, if they can't carry on a conversation. It's quite an extensive menu, offering appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, entrees and some Tex-Mex. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest these types of restaurants, with this many items offered, aren't cooking from scratch in-house. Lots of 'heat and eat' going on, especially in the entree department. There were three of us, we skipped the appetizers, tried some of their fancy pants cocktails (meh), and ordered. One sandwich, one spicy burger, and my entree choice. Fifteen minutes and a "manager" shows up and tells me they are out of my entree, but will get some in the following morning. I offer to wait, but she doesn't get it. I'm forced to make a decision for a substitute within seconds. I screw up and order a burger. (Incidentally, this is one of those places that doesn't trust your judgment to order a burger at the doneness level you prefer). Few minutes go by, the rest of the tables food arrives. Not mine. Tick tock tick tock. Fifteen minutes. Just a burger and fries, nothing special except the cost - 2-3x fast food. Fries have seasoned salt on them, which I don't care for generally. Cheese and bun were both cold. Not "not warmed," but cold. With the order confusion, I think they should have knocked something off the check. Nope. They've joined the technology age in they have the tablets at the table where you can order, pay, or play games (for a fee). The tablet completely freaked out trying to pay the bill. Saw this same unit ("Ziosk") at another chain recently, also not working. Despite this automation upgrade, four different servers called at our table, not out of a quest for excellent service, but rather out of confusion. The entire experience reminded me of why I don't like fast casual. Also a segment which millenials are abandoning in droves, I've read. Expect some to fold.

Craving Chillies but not wanting to dress up to go dine out I decided to order out. So tried calling the establishment prior to arriving hoping it'll be ready when I got here but no one answers, so coming in to order It's obviously short handed with employees, no host to welcome and the Togo area was empty finally walking up to the bar assuming it was gonna be the best option, while the bartender was running all Over the place expressing that we needed to order from the other area we explained no one was there so after an eye roll of annoyance most likely on how overwhelmed she was she politely took our order even a drink while we wait so I got a Long Island since it was happy hour. Angie was sweet so I would maybe come Back for her but my question is "WTF IS MANAGEMENT???" So my take out experience was horrible.

Enjoyed a delicious plate of baby back ribs, seasoned rice, baked beans plus an guacamole with chips and salsa. My husband and I shared it. Tasty and very reasonably priced

Severely understaffed and supposedly no management on duty. Half the restaurant was closed because there was no one to serve it. Customers were being turned away for being in a party too big. Customers in small parties were not seated either. No one was bussing the tables in the bar or dining room. Waited 45 minutes until we had to leave. It isn't the staff's fault that they don't have help. Chili's needs to help them.

They must have been short staffed today. It a few minutes for someone to acknowledge my presence. I didn't want to sit at the bar, but one of the waiters came up to the front, asked if I had been helped, then told me to sit at the bar (even though I expressed that I didn't care to sit in the bar area) and that the bartender would eventually be back. Then it took a long time to get my order taken. Food was okay. My husband's meal was brought out at the right temperature. Mine was lukewarm.

Awful. Ordered food and went to go pick it up. Took AN HOUR!!! We ordered and when we got there 20 minutes later, like they said, it wasn't done and we waited an additional 40 minutes at the restaurant. Won't ever be back! If we didn't pay for it already I would have just left!

We showed up with a party of 8 on Sunday night and they failed to put us on the waiting list. We figured this out after another party of 8 was seated ahead of us after we'd waited for 30 minutes. Then they told us we could be seated but they only had 3 servers and it would be a long time before we could be served. We left.

Not good! Margaritas were good tasting, however it took a while to get them. Pretty sure she charged us for drinks we never got. She was friendly, but did not know how to wait tables. They kept running out of Prestentes on Thursday night- which was also National Margarita Day. Unbelievable. Also, had an email invite for the National Margarita Day special, which this location did not honor. I'll pass in the future when I am craving a good margarita and appetizer.

I like going to Chilis for lunch. It is moderately priced and I haven't had any issues in recent visits! I think the servers hours get cut, if they get bad surveys. That has probably been the reason for better customer service. Which, improves the customer experience. If you've been burned before, go Back! I also love some of the new dishes. I can't remember the name, but their was a chicken and waffle dish that was pretty good and I am a fan of their salads. They also make good drinks for the price.

I visited Chili's last Friday and was charged twice. Once for the correct amount of about $16 and again for $61. I spoke with the manager the following Monday and he informed me that because the transaction was still pending and funds had not actually been taken then the $61 would be back usable in my account by Wednesday, which is today. However, the funds are still pending. My concern is that I'm familiar with businesses putting a small hold on your account to ensure that funds are there when they receive their payment but $61 is nearly four times the amount I was charged and still three business days later I do not have access to MY funds. Furthermore, the payment of $16 was processed and paid on Monday so why exactly are my funds still being held two days later. This was my second time at Chili's and the food and service was pretty good but this hold payment process is very irritating.

I showed up at 8pm on a Saturday. My party had previously procured a tit shaped water gun and dick shaped stress ball, no pun intended. I was excited because it was a going away party for me but overall, things were rough. It took a while to get served alcohol. That's ok though because they were busy. The problem though, the main problem, was the salad I ordered. I ordered a buffalo chicken salad with no buffalo. The reason I ordered the salad was to avoid the meat sweats. The salad was 85% meat and 15% salad. I ate it because I don't feel any level of self loathing until the morning after. Thanks plan b. But seriously, the meat sweats were horrible.

Walked in and stood there, just my wife and I, for at least 4 or 5 minutes before we were greeting. The hostess decided to seat a family behind us before she seated us, and tried to be sneaky about it by grabbing menus and walking away and then signaling them from around the corner. She wasn't very good at being sneaky, though, because I looked over and saw her doing it. We finally decided to seat ourselves in the bar area, which the small table was alright since it was just the two of us. The server was great. He constantly kept our drinks full and made great recommendations based on what we wanted. I tipped him well, but really hope his share to the host was minimal if none at all. Overall the visit was good. The food was perfect, the server was fantastic, and the bill was lower than expected. The only downside was the host.

Awesome service and great food. Always look forward to going to get my Chili's fix. Servers were attentive and margaritas were on point.

Ordered and paid online... food was ready at the promised time. The to-go server was polite and double checked my order before I left. The food was what I expected, and was still hot when I got back to my hotel. Only 4 stars because they forgot to give me flatware with my order. Usually not a problem, but since I was in a hotel, I had to hunt down a fork before I could eat.
