The waitress was good. She did her job without hovering and I like that. The food was good, my favorite item was the onion rings they were great. The restaurant was clean and inviting. In all we liked the place and I see us returning.
I was a little disappointed in the brisket especially when I asked my waitress for sweet meat and she looked puzzled. Melissa's service was impeccable. The ribs were ok but not something that they should hang their on. I've tasted North Carolina, Memphis which I'm assuming Corky's is supposed to be and Texas BBQ. I'llin have to give Texas the nod for the best. On my next visit I'll try poultry and sausage selection. The sides seemed to be homemade...
We tried this place the other day. We started out with the fried pickles and they were very good. Lightly breaded and fried just right. Loved them.
We shared the Trolley car chicken and it was okay. It could have more flavor. We will go back to try it again.
