We had the best experience we have ever had at the Shackleford location. Kevin was our waiter. As soon as we sat down he took our drink order. Promptly got our drinks then took our food order. Asked if we wanted our biscuits first, which we did, and brought them right out. Food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Kevin checked in on us a couple of times to refresh drinks and make sure everything was OK. He was pleasant and had a smile every time he talked to us. I think he had one star on his apron but he by far outshined any 5 star waiter we ever had.

The food was great, it came out hot, and the service here goes beyond what I’ve experienced at other Cracker Barrel locations. Our server was excellent and the manager was friendly and professional. The campfire chicken was awesome.

I’d go out of my way to come back to this spot again.

They took mine and my mother's order 30 minutes came over and told us that they had to drop some chicken to cook and it would be almost ready. 10 minutes later the manager comes out and says that they are having to cook some chicken and it would be another 30 minutes before being ready...manager couldn't tell me who the liar was because someone lied, this place is just an all around mess and I think should be shut down completely before it gets worse because the whole time I was there 3 other family's were upset with the way things were being done and handle with their experience there.

Audra is a great hostess who is so very friendly and helpful in seating us by the window always!!! We love Derrick, our server!!! He is so courteous and attentive!! He brought us saucers for our coffee cup and keeps our coffee filled!! Thank you to manager, Chloe for a great team here at Cracker Barrel LR location!!

Great service and I had an excellent waiter. His name was Derrick and he took really good care of me. Made sure I was happy and had everything I needed. Kept my drink refilled and had great manners, can’t ask for much more:)

I was very impressed with the manager Tyler she showed empathy and compassion.. I felt the desire to achieve and make it her duty to represent the store as a loving and caring worker who cares for the people of this community… thank you for have her on your team … she make the company look good from all stand points.
