This Mexican restaurant was okay. I gave it 4 stars because our service was weird. The two waitresses were deep in conversation and it felt weird to have to continue to flag ours down. The food was also fine. The atmosphere is great and it's very appealing to look at the decorations. If you need somewhere to eat and are looking for Mexican, they do have a wide menu.

Got the 3 taco Mahi Mahi dinner that was seasoned perfectly and melted in the mouth. It comes with black or pinto beans and cilantro rice. Lots of seating inside, has a traditional Mexican restaurant feel. The servers are a hit or miss.

The drinks were the only plus about my experience here. The tamales were dreadful, and the enchiladas barely had any meat in them. Nothing was seasoned well. It's supposed to be authentic but taste like they bought Mexican inspired food from the frozen section and heated it up. Don't waste your money on their very overpriced food. You'll get a better experience at the new Mexican restaurant down the street.

Service was very slow, food was almost totally bland. Definitely SO many good places in LR to get good Mexican food, skip this one.

Drove 5 hours and looked for a Mexican restaurant to eat.. found this place. The tacos were horrible, the potato con chorizo taco, tasted old, the chicken taco, the chicken tasted off. And the carna asada taco, the worst of them all, made me throw up, the taste of the meat was like the smell of old meat, sitting in grease.. I had to run to the bathroom and threw it up. The cup of elote was basically a cup of mayonnaise. I’m sick to my stomach, I feel ill. Would not recommend.. my trip here is now being spent in my hotel laying down.. the waitress send her home if she look like she don’t wanna be there

The service itself makes the food and prices not worth it.

Decided to go here a 2nd time after a bad experience with the service and it was no different. The restaurant was pretty empty with us and 2 other tables. Just basic things that shouldn't have happened. We had to go ask the bartender for our drinks due to nobody coming to our table after being seated. The chips and salsa is a rip off...the salsa cup is the size of a shot glass. The waitress couldn't remember what the 4 of us got so she printed everybody on the same receipt and had us circle what we got (we only got 3 entrees and 4 drinks). She then disappeared and we had to go find her to pay.

The “Tapas” are just four individual Tostas, which is not well described on the menu, and for the price paid was very disappointing. This will be our first and last time at this restaurant.

I want to be fair here, and explain my ratings a bit. First, you pay for chips and salsa, but get a little thimble of very watery salsa that was less salsa and more tomato juice. I ordered three tacos. Ribeye, and beef barbacoa. The menu showed a picture of a bowl of salsa, but the tacos came with the salsa already on the taco. I would like to be my own judge on how much salsa I want. As far as the tacos, the meat just didn't taste flavored at all. It wasn't bad, but it just didn't hook me from a taste standpoint. The service was the same. I kinda felt like I was interrupting our server by being there. No real smile. Started walking away before we finished our sentences, quick to disappear. The atmosphere was good. The music was a bit loud for my taste, but I think that is just a me problem. Overall, I will go back. Maybe this was just a bad day. But I asked others about this place and their reaction was 'meh'. And that's how I will end this review. It was 'meh'. But please give them a try. Maybe this was just a bad day.

Our waiter Edgar was such a joy!! The Margarita flight is always a great starter. The nachos have been my fav, but they seem to have changed how they are made. There was more shredded cheese (not melted) and less queso dip. It was still yummy, but I would make suggestions next time I order, such as no shredded cheese, only queso and black beans over pinto beans. Pico would also have been nice. I was pleasantly surprised with a birthday song from the staff. Everyone was so welcoming, and the music was also a vibe. Will def return, and I'm def asking for Edgar again he was awesome.
