We didn’t know what to expect, and just wanted to get a steak. This place just looked like a little family restaurant, so imagine our surprise when they brought out a large family size steak that tasted amazing and was even pre-cut. The new potatoes were amazing too!
The food was fantastic, and we will go here again for sure.

Food was good first time here. Did not know about steak family style. Went by my self so had tamales and catfish dinner. Better to go to this place as group so can eat the steak I think definitely want to try.

Get the porterhouse and ask them to put au-juice on the second run on the broiler.
Parking: Parking in the area is kind of sketchy, but the do have a rent a cop there for safety

13.75 for the best Phillyi have ever ate. So I thought it deserved a review.also a lady I think she was the owner is very sweet and put the fan on me out back. It's gonna be hard not to come here everyday since I work right across from it !
T-BONE was so good. Cook perfectly. Could not say more about this stake! Will be back soon!!

Parking: We were traveling back to Tennessee and ate at Does Eat Place in Little Rock Arkansas. It was great and was waited on by Jimmy. we had no problem with parking. We were there st 5 when they opened.

First off, I only gave 3 stars because I drove 5 hours to eat a porterhouse steak here (which is what I’ve ordered at the Greenville, MS location for the past 20 yrs) and they said they had already “run out” of them. It was 6:30 on a Saturday night! What kind of place runs out of a particular kind of steak early on a weekend?? I drove in from Dallas because it was a shorter distance than going all the way to Greenville. Secondly, the original Doe’s gives you the option of having a bowl of “au jus” for the table to pour over your steak - this one did not. I will say, however, the tamales were just as good as I what I was used to, and the salad was actually a bit better than Greenville’s. The new potatoes were a nice touch that I was not accustomed to, and were quite tasty. But again, seriously disappointed that they were out of porterhouses and I had to settle for a t-bone (which was just ok). There were only 3 other tables of customers at that time, so at least there was no wait. Needless to say, I think I’ll drive the extra 3 hours to Greenville next time I’ve got my mouth set for a world class steak.
