The brisket was delicious and you can cut it with your fork. The bark on the brisket had great flavor, the bake beans, and macaroni and cheese were home made and yummy. Service was excellent.
Charming place. Mac and Cheese to die for, to die for. Like the minced styled cole slaw. Chicken Fried Chicken tender. Ask for gravy on side. Gravy rich but too salty. I must try more on the menu and get that mac and cheese again. Has a garlicky taste. I'll get two sides of mac and cheese next visit. ⚘⚘⚘
It's been ages since I've visited the original McClard's in Hot Springs. I didn't even know they had expanded to Little Rock. When I pulled in, I thought it was closed. There were no cars in sight but I saw the open sign. The atmosphere is completely different than the original which I missed. I ordered my favorite: Half Tamale Spread. It was still good as I remembered but I wished it had a few more onions and Frito chips but it was heaped with shredded pork...
