We visited on a whim while at the Clinton Library. It's a small restaurant on the lower level of the library. The food and service were excellent. Prices also reasonable. The bar features lots of locally made beers and spirits. Totally worth visiting!

The food was pretty good. My husband had the shrimp po boy. He liked it. I had the cab cake salad. The crab cakes and remoulade were very good but there were too many salad greens with no dressing. I asked for a side of dressing and got some honey vinegarette, which was excellent.

Lauren was our kind and welcoming waitress. She checked on us numerous times even though she was busy, obviously an expert at time management. Panini was ok, the pimento cheese was cold, so it threw off the hot sandwich I was looking forward to. Soup made up for it. We will return at night next time for views of the bridge.

Our server was offish when my spouse asked if the lemonade was tart, and then brought my ‘gluten free’ salad out with breaded chicken. When it was returned to be corrected, we found breading remnants on the plate, while the manager responded outstandingly, the server’s apology is insufficient for the TMI celiac symptoms I’m now experiencing. Not recommended, I’m afraid.Dietary restrictions: Lazy wait staff, and a salad with croutons labeled as gluten free on the menu, make this a gamble.

I decided to go here for brunch. It was very nice. I enjoyed the ambiance and the scenery. I had a table by the window where I could see the bridge, the water, all of the outdoors. The food was very good, cooked with love, and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend and I will be going back!!

Glad they revamped the menu, more choices for me, but two in our party were very sad that they no longer offer the chicken pot pie. Maybe they will offer it as a special from time to time!

Great lunch spot. Lots of light limited view of Arkansas River but nice. Not a large lunch menu but enough options. They set up a great table by the window. Service was ok, started good but had to remind server for wine and still waiting for desert options. Will go back but be a bit more assertive.

I really enjoyed my experience at 42 bar and table. Our waitress was amazing. She brought us a soup sample to start. She also recommended specialty drinks. The orange creamsicle was my favorite drink (ask for light ice). The sweet potato fries were delicious. However, the club sandwich was so underwhelming and made sloppy. While it tasted good, it was still lacking what a club sandwich should be, and I left hungry for more protein. The flourless chocolate cake was so delicious, it's not to be missed. Overall, I give the food 4 stars ? because of my sandwich. Everything else was amazing!

I made an early dinner reservation for 4:45 PM for my girlfriend and me a few days prior to dining. Prior to our dinner, we enjoyed visiting the Clinton Library and Museum, which houses the 42 Bar and Table Restaurant. Our appetizer was Arkansas Rice and Crawfish Cakes with Roasted Pepper Cream, which was excellent and artfully presented. The two crawfish cakes were delicious and “light” so just enough to satisfy two people and “prime” us for our entrees. My delicious Grilled Swordfish meal also included lump crabmeat, roasted corn, herb risotto, and seasonal vegetables. My girlfriend enjoyed the delicious Mustard and Maple Glazed Chicken Breast with crisp prosciutto, fingerling and sweet potatoes, and seasonal vegetables. We were very satisfied with our meals and the price was very reasonable. Service was good and the server was very kind.

The staff was great, but the food, not so much. I had shrimp and grits with a side of breakfast potatoes and it lacked any flavor. I thought I had COVID due to it not tasting like anything. My mom had the breakfast platter and thought the same. She did really enjoy the white sangria, though. The food also took 30+ minutes to come out. For that long of a wait, we left very hungry and disappointed. This was my first and last time coming.

For an upscale restaurant the service was not very good. Some of the food was decent with good taste, but some of the food was very bland. You definitely do not get what you pay for. We arrived on a Saturday night at 6:00 p.m and stayed until around 8 p.m. their were a total of seven customers the whole time we were there. The atmosphere was bland. The best part about the whole experience ia their happy hour, which is amazing, and their drink menu. Sadly to say I was very disappointed in the food and my experience. We ordered the crawfish rice cakes, muscles, ribeye steak, and swordfish. The muscles appetizer was the best of all. I ordered the ribeye steak medium, and it came out rare, full of fat and grissle.Vegetarian options: There are not many vegetarian dishes, but they are clearly labeled.Parking: Their is free parking lot parking, valet parking is also offered.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is wheelchair accessible and elevators are spacious.
