Gozen Japan House Bowman

We order food through door dash from this restaurant. No dashers picked up our food, but the restaurant called us to let us know and we went to pick it up. After arguing with door dash about a refund, we went ahead and picked up our food and brought home. The food was very good. WE got steak/shrimp combo. The meat tasted very good and the fried rice was great. We will definitely order food from here again

My son wanted to try Gozen Japan House on Bowman for a while. So today, Thursday, August 21, 2025 around 11 a.m. after his doctor appointment, I decided to treat him. The young Asian lady that was a the cash register CHARGED ME TWICE ON TWO DIFFERENT CARDS!!😡😡😡 She kept insisting that her tablet showed an error. Fortunately, I decided to check BOTH of my accounts while I was still there. When I confronted her about the double charge, she pretended not to understand. I pulled out both of my cards and showed her my account on my phone, clearly pointing out that I had been charged twice and that I wanted a refund for one of the transactions. Then she said, “oh, you want a refund”. I said, “Yes, and a receipt”. She gave me a refund in CASH and on the receipt she put that I paid in CASH, even though I paid with my Cards (BIG RED FLAG🚩)! The FOOD was SO DISGUSTING. The rice and the noodles had a wired tasted and she tried to still from me and make me pay for it twice!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡 It felt like she was trying to scam me by charging me twice for the meal. 😡😡😡😡 I'm really FURIOUS about the entire experience!!! Despite everything, I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. BE CAREFUL AND CHECK YOUR ACCOUNTS. I wish there was something that you could used to make sure your food was not contaminated!!😡😡😡😡😡

On August 30, 2025, I reached out to the email address the owner provided in his post, as instructed. He responded and mentioned that he wanted to make things right, which I appreciated.
However, I haven't heard anything further since then.

Very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. I had the brothless Ramen with the braised pork. The pork was hands down not only the best ive had at a ramen shop, but any other restaurant. They could sell the pork by the plate and I would happily order that.

Wish this place had better a/c. Only bad thing to say. For such a small place the food was top tier. Been to some of most famous restaurants in US The crab rangoon was wonderful and anything fried here was immaculate (clean grease). Didn't try ramen but enjoyed all sushi I tried

Simple order-at-the counter restaurant. I got braised pork steamed buns and spicy miso ramen with braised pork. Everything was excellent, and the service was fast.

The sushi was fantastic and the best bowl of shoyu ramen iv had. The eating area was small but feel cozy. Service was great as soon as an item was ready it was brought to the table.

The noodles had a strange smell and tasted just as odd. They left a lingering aftertaste. If you pay with a credit or debit card, they will charge you multiple times and say it's an ERROR with the tablet so they can take cash out of the register and keep it for themselves! 😡
