Homer’s Kitchen Table

We went to dinner there tonite. The waitress took our drink orders. She did not tell us at this time they were out of most items on their menu and the specials of the day due to being closed the next 2 days. When she came back to take the food orders is when we were told about the lack of items that were available. We took some more time to look over the menu again. Tried again to order. And then told those items were not available either. Was able to finally find someone for my husband and grandson. After 3 tries to find something I finally gave up. Last time was just a side salad. Will never be back!!

The chicken fried steak was inedible. It was soggy and looked like pork instead of beef. I only took one bite. I mentioned it to the waitress when she FINALLY came back to check on us. She just said sorry and billed me the full amount for the meal. We will never be back. One and done!

Great food and great service. Definitely recommend this place.

This restaurant is a ten out of ten. Exceptional service and my waitress remembered us. A very friendly atmosphere make u feel like your eating at home

First time and extremely disappointed.
Service was very good.
Entree was hot but lacked flavor, the sides were not hot a seemed to be sitting awhile.
Jalapeño cornbread was burnt, regular cornbread had a slight sour taste with both extremely dry.
When informing manager of our experience she had a few excuses for us and expressed little interest in our experience. ?
After getting home all five at the table agreed the manager was not having a good day.

Great service offered in the form of traditional Southern hospitality in this family-owned eatery. Delicious American fare based on the two dishes we ordered. Homey decor coupled with reasonable prices. We got there at 11:00 on a Tuesday and it was not busy but filled up quickly by noon with folks at entrance waiting in line, so be aware. A bit noisy when busy. Free parking.

My husband and I had lunch at Homer’s today. They were crazy busy when we got there but we were seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. My husband had the chili dog and I had the patty melt. We both had onion rings. It was all delicious. I ordered a piece of chocolate pie to take home and it was wonderful. Highly recommend.

I was in Little Rock and looked up Country cooking which showed this restaurant. My husband ordered hamburger steak which was horrible. His mash potatoes were hard like they didn’t mash. I got jalapeño cornbread which was hard as a brick! Very disappointed! Don’t waste your hard earned money!

It was my first visit. But, it will not be the last, I wanted something different for my birthday dinner. So, I selected Homer’s. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries. The meat was tender and delicious and the bun tasted homemade. The service was good as the waitress came around to make sure we had anything we needed. The atmosphere was quiet and I was actually able to hear and have told a conversation with my friends. Some restaurants are so noisy that is’s impossible to visit with friends. The prices were average. I look forward to coming back and trying some of the other items on the menu.
