Kobe Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi

The restaurant was nice and hibachi looked like a good experience. However we did not do hibachi this time. We were seated and waited a good amount of time before a server even came to get our order. When we gave her our order my husband told her that he was allergic to avocado and that he wanted it substituted for something else on his California roll. The server half listened to everything we said, even walked away while we were taking to her. When she brought our gyoza out she slammed them down on the table and never asked if we needed anything. When she brought out our sushi rolls my husbands roll had avocado in it. He again had to tell her he’s allergic to it and mid conversation she takes his roll and walks off. My husband had to go up to the chef to explain he was allergic once again and the roll was then made properly. After receiving our correct food we were never checked on again . We even had to go hunt down our own chopsticks from a supply station. Once done eating we sat there for a while and ending up having to ask for the check. Once we got the check we had to wait another 10-15 minutes and our server was no where to be found. We ended up having to track down another server to pay for our meal. After leaving I immediately got sick and began throwing up the sushi I ate. We won’t be back.

I went to this place last night, and I highly recommend this place!! The atmosphere was pretty chill and all the staffs were so friendly and nice! I tried some of the sushi and the steak hibachi. Price felt fair for the quality.
Definitely going back soon!

Have never had a more ridiculous experience. They close at 9:30p and we were being kicked out by 9:15p. They literally turned off the lights to the entire restaurant while we were still there and it wasn’t even close time yet. We gathered ourselves within minutes still leaving 5 minutes before close and everyone was so rude. Have been there before and had better experiences but guess it’s not the same at all anymore. Not going back at this point.
