We came in with 15 people for my friends birthday. Sarah was our server, and Sarah's attitude couldnt have been worse. When we first walked in you could tell she was annoyed at life. Anything we said or asked her annoyed her and it showed tremendously. We gave her chance after chance trying to make her laugh or joke and she literally just stared at us basically rolled her eyes, and left the table. Barry the manager on the other hand was absolutely amazing!!!! He made our experience great. It was a breathe of fresh air after having to deal with Sarah. He made jokes with us, joked with the kids, talked to us and made us feel welcomed. I'm a server at a fine dining restaurant and I would NEVER treat my guests how Sarah treated us. I took Barry a piece of birthday cake afterwards because he was the best!

To conclude, The food was AMAZING!
I would just reevaluate having Sarah as a server there, bc next time we make reservations we will request to not have her as our server.

Where to begin? #1, where is "Sterling"? Where is the food quality, service, product? Yes I know you are transitioning, yes I know you are under construction. However, if you can not provide the food during this time, close. If the construction hinders close, you are not serving and selling automotive parts, this is food we eat. We waited to go to give "Sterling" time to get their hands on the food. I remember when both Loca and Red were stellar. They began dying a slow death so when Sterling purchased we looked forward to the resurrection. Not so. Catfish, too thick, not crispy, hadn't been properly cleaned before breading, greasy. Hushpuppies laden with grease, fries also. Ranch tasted like buttermilk flavored water. The original chicken fried steak was made with prime rib and was the best in town "back in the day". Yesterday I had a subpar, greasy, stringy, tough piece of shoe leather, gravy was a mix at best. Send cooks to Crazee's to learn how to fry catfish. Perfect example of a dive being able to cook. Next, servers. I'll not beat around the bush, look at your servers sometime, it would help you. Compare to other restaurants. Anyone can pull down their shirt to meet their pant (women) so we don't have to see your stomach. I could go on but if you will look you should know for yourself. Have a standard for goodness sake. An easy fix would be to have some sort of uniform, a restaurant tee at the least, have clean pants, cover your stomach, don't come in looking and acting hung over... ETC. Suggestion for remodel, if the kitchen staff and how they react to each other, how they handle the food isn't something to see, shut it off to people. It looks like what you see on prison movies. Visible kitchens should be stellar, professional looking, to where you enjoy watching them cook as you wait to eat what you see them prepare vs being afraid of what they are doing and questioning their ability at the least.

Went there fir a business dinner. Booked the back room. The chairs could have been better (only reason not a 5 star rating, also the chairs in the main dining area is great, just the private room), but the food was absolutely fantastic. HIGHLY recommend it.

Unfortunately, I have to feel that Luna’s has taken a step backwards of recent. Service was slower than the number of seated tables. Some food items were great while others were just fine. For example the bacon green beans were bland and the brownie was dry but the chicken fried steak itself was great. Luna isn’t in the top 10 of my restaurants anymore. Fingers crossed it will be again.

The food was incredible! The chicken fried steak was crispy, tender, and full of flavor. The service was super friendly, and the drinks were strong and well-made. That cheese dip is seriously top tier. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be back!

Enjoyed a work meeting with a colleague here. It was my first visit, but he's a regular. He had steak and eggs while I had sausage gravy over a biscuit. Mine tasted great, and his was cooked very, very nicely.

Food was so-so average. Service was extraordinarily slow due to inadequate staffing. A pizza and 4 drinks took 2-1/2 hours and the bill was $125.

Hostess never cracked a smile. She appeared annoyed to have to be at work! Luckily our waiter, Barry, was extremely personable and took good care of us. No complaints on the food. I had the salmon and my husband had a shrimp dish and they were both very good. However, I would have liked the sweet potato casserole that was listed on the menu, but was told the chef did not make it that day. even the waiter had no clue why. This is a great restaurant, but the new owners. need to get their employees on the right track and hire more people like Barry, the waiter.

Asked for a medium rare burger, got a black puck with no pink. Not worth the price if they can’t do the basics.

We were there a couple weeks ago and sat at the bar ( there was this awful weird smell) our bartender Maggie was amazing and made our experience great!!! She suggested the frozen cherry limeade and dirty martini then suggested the crab cakes all were amazing. The taco special was also amazing . She's simply the best very attentive and overall great A+. We will return.

Food, service, atmosphere were fine. A bit noisy. Food a bit pricy for the quality. Not on my frequent visit list, but I would be ok if that's where the group voted to go.

How the mighty have fallen. Loca Luna used to be my favorite restaurant, what I would recommend to anyone from out of town. Over the years I fell in love with the pseudo fancy atmosphere and fantastic food. My visit today was heartbreaking. The cocktails which I had always enjoyed felt like they here hastily crafted and my partners frozen margarita was half melted as if it sat on the bar. My tried and true favorite entree, the Osso buco was so bad I didn’t even bother sending it back. Years ago I remember wanting to lick my plate it was so good. The cut of meat itself was fatty and bland, the sauce was chunky and loose and tasted like it was thrown together and poured overtop. I’d equate the food on the level of The Cracker Barrel, and at least they have rocking chairs and checkers going for them. The service which I remember in years past being attentive and professional was awkward and amateur. The men’s restroom has peeling paint, mold, and is just screaming for maintenance, a renovation, or even a decent cleaning. I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon because I don’t want my memory of this once great restaurant to fall any lower.
