I'm visiting Little Rock and decided to go exploring Saturday morning and found this delightful little gem in downtown for breakfast. I was surprised they were open because downtown was so quiet. I walked in and was immediately greeted. There was one other table dining in. It's a walk-up and order and then they bring your food to you sorta place. They had a pretty standard breakfast menu. I ordered the Santa Fe omelet with hash browns, a bisquit and coffee. The coffee was good which is always a good start. They brought the omelet not too long after I ordered. I wish I had taken a picture. It came with a side of salsa. I dipped my fork in the salsa and added some to the omelet. That first bite was AMAZING! This might have been the best omelet I have had in years. Everything was soooo fresh and delicious! The salsa was better than any Mexican restaurant in the area I have visited. The cheese on the omelet was fantastic and there was lots of it. The biscuit came by itself without butter or jelly. Turns out the biscuit was friggin delicious all by itself. Loved this breakfast and I can't wait to go back!

This little place was absolutely lovely and the food was delicious. Felt like I was visiting at a friend’s house and having a great home-cooked meal. Love the avocado on that bacon omelette, the potatoes were really flavorful, and the pancakes were nice and fluffy. Portions or great and I had plenty to take home with me

The French Quarter burger was fantastic from the fresh sliced avocado to the toasted cheese bread for the bun and the fried okra was cooked to perfection. Definitely plan to return regularly!

Love this place. Small, clean, great taste. Only reason for no 5 star was because the portion size didn't match the price. Still will come

Malibu Cafe is a perfect stop off for a quick breakfast or lunch. Tucked away on the corner of 4th and Lousiana, it's close to the action of downtown but far enough from the river market that it's usually not too busy.Staff is friendly and prompt, and the business is well kept and clean. Now let's talk about the food, When I visited, I got the huevos con chorizo and I have to say, they're doing it right. The chorizo is well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The red skin potatoes they serve as a side are delicious and filling. My meal totaled out to roughly 14 bucks with a drink, and I left very satisfied and filled. I would highly recommend Malibu Cafe to anyone who is looking for a nice dine in experience for breakfast or lunch!

I really do love this place. I’ve had their lunch options and they’re great, but NOTHING compares to their French toast breakfast. Just do yourself a favor and go get it one day, it doesn’t even matter what time.
