my experience with capers was horrible. there was a roach that crawled across my table and that doesn't count the hair on my plate when I asked to speak to a manager they sent out a man who didn't know anything about customer service, I don't recommend anyone to go there
After a wonderful afternoon with family, we ended the day at Capers. The reservation was set for 6:00 and we were all early. After being seated, one hour and 11 minutes later our order still had not been taken! When they were finally taken, it was another 35 minutes before being served. Mind you, the place was NOT AT ALL full of customers. This was the slowest restaurant I have ever seen! The waitress spent most of the time with her arm propped up against the door frame talking. Never again!
Meals are so fresh and delicious! Prices are reasonable also.
What a great place for a first meal in Little Rock. A locally owned establishment with an excellent waitstaff and great menu. Wait to make a decision on what sounds great until the specials are revealed! We had the artichoke dip for an appetizer, and the pork chop and bacon wrapped quail for our entree. Excellent all around. And as great as the meal, the restaurant is a beautiful place and again the waitress was top notch. How great it would be to have this place down the street from my house!
The stuffed chicken was so over cooked, I could not cut it w/ a steak knife!!! The grits served with, were the most off putting side ever, still not sure they were really grits! I had to get up and get drinks for the table, then later beg for someone to wait on us. Who ever purchased this from the previous owner, obviously doesn’t know how to run a restaurant like she did. We will not be back.
Food was very delicious. Restaurant was clean & appealing. Menu had variety of choices to satisfy any appetite. I wish there were more than 5 bubbles, because I would give Hannah, our waitress, 10 bubbles. She was absolutely 1 of the best we could hope for to handle our group of 15. The occasion was our best friend’s 70th birthday & Hannah’s attention to everybody’s needs made for a very memorable event.
Originally this party was supposed to be held at Bonefish Grill but due to a dropped reservation request the party had to be moved to Caper's. It could not have turned out better! There was a private room in which the party could visit and enjoy the purpose of the gathering, which was to celebrate the 70th birthday of a very special lady. The food was superb and the wait staff was prompt and attentive. This whole night had a very happy ending.
We had the most kind and helpful waitress tonight. The crab cakes were delicious and so was the shrimp and be sure to leave room for dessert! Yummy!
good food, and courteous waiters.
Loved it here! Appreciate the owner & staff for lovely hospitality!

It was a fun night celebrating my 80th birthday. The service was great and the food delicious. Thank you for a great evening.
James , our server was helpful and friendly. The crawfish sauce was really good . The catfish was cooked perfectly. The capers potatoes was so good , the coleslaw was delicious, we will definitely return.
Absolutely amazing cuisine and my complements to the Chef !!
Lovely place to go on a Romantic dinner, or even just for a amazing lunch. I can promise you. The food never disappoints. We love capers. ❤
As a chef of 25 years, I must say this is some of the best food around. It's definitely a Little Rock staple.
