Capers advertises itself as the best fine dining in Little Rock, we question who they are comparing themselves to, fast food? We dined with them last week and from what we could tell, only the prices align with true fine dining. My wife ordered an entree salad which arrived disguised as a side salad, all for the bargain price of $26. I ordered stuffed chicken which was stuffed as advertised, but was also breaded which was not noted in the description. Our server was unpleasant and has mastered "no", which is also not consistent with fine dining. She would disappear for extended periods of time which may explain why our food was cold. In fairness to her, mgmt gave our table of 4 upfront to her and a group of 12 at the back of the restaurant. I say mgmt but I'm not sure there was Mgmt as we didn't see anyone looking responsible. Very disappointing experience, from start to finish, this was a horrible experience. If you want the service and food to align with cost, go elsewhere!

I just moved back to Little Rock and happened to stop by to get a menu. Carlos gave me a menu to take with me and told me about the lunch special and and the history of Capers. I went the next day for lunch. Food was amazing and the customer service from the young man that delivered my water, my wait staff Susie to management was amazing! It will be by new "ToGo" restaurant! Thank you!

August 9, 2023. Crab cake was so salty it was not edible. One bite had 5 capers...one small piece of crab. Same for warm pear salad. What was that "pear"? It was like a hard half pear covered with sweet icky sauce. The center of the half pear was a symmetrical circle. How do you find a half pear like that? In addition to long waits for service, the waitress complained about the table's tips. The waitress called out certain members of our group and told two of us what they supposedly tipped. Our group has loved Capers for years. But with new ownership it has steadily gone downhill. #Disappointed #wontgoback #greasynocrabinmycrabcake #thepearwasfake #twohourwaitforourmealtab

What a great place for a first meal in Little Rock. A locally owned establishment with an excellent waitstaff and great menu. Wait to make a decision on what sounds great until the specials are revealed! We had the artichoke dip for an appetizer, and the pork chop and bacon wrapped quail for our entree. Excellent all around. And as great as the meal, the restaurant is a beautiful place and again the waitress was top notch. How great it would be to have this place down the street from my house!

The food is consistent and tasty, though the end menu could use an update. Service was a little hit or miss at lunch. We always enjoy the atmosphere.

Since the previous owner, who knew the restaurant business inside and out, sold Caper's it has gone to heck in a hand basket!! Awful dinner, service was bad, had to beg someone to wait on us. The stuffed chicken was so over cooked, I could not cut it w/ a steak knife. The "grits" that were served with, were the most off putting things I have ever tasted. Still not sure they were grits! The pasta w/ the chicken Picatta had no taste and was so over cooked. The burger smelled like mildew. Worst food and service. We will not be back.

The stuffed chicken was so over cooked, I could not cut it w/ a steak knife!!! The grits served with, were the most off putting side ever, still not sure they were really grits! I had to get up and get drinks for the table, then later beg for someone to wait on us. Who ever purchased this from the previous owner, obviously doesn’t know how to run a restaurant like she did. We will not be back.

Food was very delicious. Restaurant was clean & appealing. Menu had variety of choices to satisfy any appetite. I wish there were more than 5 bubbles, because I would give Hannah, our waitress, 10 bubbles. She was absolutely 1 of the best we could hope for to handle our group of 15. The occasion was our best friend’s 70th birthday & Hannah’s attention to everybody’s needs made for a very memorable event.

Originally this party was supposed to be held at Bonefish Grill but due to a dropped reservation request the party had to be moved to Caper's. It could not have turned out better! There was a private room in which the party could visit and enjoy the purpose of the gathering, which was to celebrate the 70th birthday of a very special lady. The food was superb and the wait staff was prompt and attentive. This whole night had a very happy ending.

We had the most kind and helpful waitress tonight. The crab cakes were delicious and so was the shrimp and be sure to leave room for dessert! Yummy!
