This spot was once a go-to in Little Rock, many years ago. I stopped dealing with them when their prices went up and food quality went down. I tried to give them another chance recently, and I'm sad to say it's the same situation, perhaps worse. Also, portion sizes seem to have decreased. To be fair, they do some things right. The food is good in general. But it's still incredibly overpriced for what you get. And I hope the workers are at least paid well, because the only clear reason they stay in business is the bougie WLR citizens willing to pay an arm and a leg for the most diminutive portions I've seen out of any deli in the whole gd US.
The fact hardly anyone ever dines in there is a solid sign as well. I door dash and pick up there sometimes, every single time the tables are empty. Y'all should hire a consultant, for real.
Great food, good price, very chill atmosphere with comfortable seating. Great place for an informal lunch or dinner that is leagues above fast food but less $$$ than Outback, Ilive Garden, etc.

This is the second time I’ve tried this place. The atmosphere seems nice but my experiences were unacceptable. First time I ordered online and picked up. The people working the counter were not friendly AT ALL. I get home and my baked potato is old. Worse than that the cheesecake I ordered is hard on the outside. I was confused until I took a bite and it tasted like a dirty refrigerator. So gross. Against my better judgment I tried again today. Decided to go in and order. Kinda glad I did because I ended up walking right back out after no one acknowledged me. When they finally did I felt bad for being there and disturbing them. Relieved I didn’t order food. I have a feeling it would just be another disappointment… and food isn’t cheap these days. Do better.
A little pricey but good deli food, great service!
Nice for a relaxer
The best Tea ever!!!
Got a new Yorker was supposed to have corn beef and pastrami all I had was corn beef I still can't figure out how you can have cheese melted and the meat be cold and the bread should have been toasted but was barely warm. Probably won't be back.
They're TRULY A BLESSING AND THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS!!

I love McAllister. I've been eating it for years, even worked there part time as a young adult. And surprisingly to this day it still has always tasted great and fresh.
I did curbside pickup because I’m recovering from surgery and they had my food on the top of the counter where every customer is paying at and had us waiting outside for 30 minutes. I went in and everyone is just talking and laughing not doing anything. I will never come back over here.
I called last night about an hour before closing. After I placed my order it told me it would be ready today at 1015 am after I asked for it to be ready last night. When I tried to call back to cancel it, no one answered the phone. I remember coming here as a child because EVERYTHING was great including the service. Nowadays it doesn’t matter when you go in or if you eat there or do take out, the service is absolutely terrible. Great food with poor service makes people not want to come. Maybe try getting people and managers that care about their job to work. What a shame to have the best tea and potatoes around and no one wants to come in because of the workers.
Baked potato was overcooked
