Great lunch
She serves up the best falafel in Little Rock, ong. She’s also one of the nicest and kindest people you’ll meet—you won’t be disappointed. If you’re not sure what to get, she’ll gladly put together a spread of what she thinks is best that day. Her dishes change daily, aside from the staples.

The food was amazing 1000/10! It’s hard to find good authentic Egyptian food but this place is the spot. The chef was the sweetest lady and her service was outstanding. I have tried this place a few times now and the food hits the spot every time. I highly recommend this spot!

I stopped here while passing through Little Rock on my way back to Chicago. Aunt Afaf welcomed me with incredible kindness—she refused to take money from me, even offered drinks and baklava, saying she never charges travelers. The food was delicious, the place was very clean, and her hospitality is unforgettable. I’ll always remember her and keep her in my prayers

I just had one of the best meals of my life at this Middle Eastern spot downtown. Walked in not knowing what to expect, and the smell hit me first — like warm spices and fresh bread. I went for the gyro plate and honestly, I could have eaten three of them. The hummus was creamy and flavorful, the falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and that yogurt sauce… oh man, it tied everything together perfectly.
The staff were so friendly, checking in without being pushy, making you feel welcome. Everything just felt fresh and homemade — not like some pre-packaged stuff. I left full, happy, and already planning my next visit. If you like real, flavorful Middle Eastern food, this place is a must.

Amazing find! The owners were incredibly welcoming, kind, and generous. I visited on a Saturday morning after exploring the Farmer's Market. I stopped by to look at the menu and was instantly greeted with a friendly welcome and discussion on vegan options. The food was delicious and a surprise in Little Rock - hummus, baba ghanoush, salad, and an incredible tomato sauce for the kuchari. The owners were the stars making the experience even better!

Middle Eastern Cuisine in Little Rock is a Must-Try!
Middle Eastern Cuisine is hands-down one of the best restaurants I’ve visited in Little Rock. The food is authentic, fresh, and full of rich, vibrant flavors that really transport you. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back the moment you finish your meal.
I had the lamb gyro plate with rice and hummus — absolutely incredible. The lamb was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the hummus was smooth and packed with flavor. My friend tried the vegetarian sampler, and every bite — from the falafel to the baba ganoush — was spot-on.
The staff is friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do. They’re happy to answer questions or suggest dishes if you’re new to Middle Eastern food. The atmosphere is clean, casual, and welcoming — perfect for lunch or a relaxed dinner.
If you're in Little Rock and looking for something beyond the usual, do yourself a favor and check out Middle Eastern Cuisine. You won’t be disappointed!

Amazing experience! It was such a nice surprise to find this little Egyptian restaurant in Arkansas. The owners were so kind and gave us a ton of free samples to try everything and gave us a huge discount on the plates we bought. We tried so many things and they were all super tasty, we tried hawawshi, stuffed cabbage leaves, kofta, Egyptian whisky (salad juice), chicken kabob, babaghanouj, Egyptian style chicken & potatos and even got baklava for free as dessert. And truly everything tasted so good, I highly highly recommend checking this place out, especially if you want some great authentic Egyptian food.
