First time eating here with my husband. Had the avocado roll and the noddles. Really good. Staff really friendly and the decorations was beautiful. I would highly recommend coming here. I found a new place to call my favorite and its much closer to my home. Can't wait to come back and eat here again. Thank you to the staff on the friendly warm welcoming

Enjoyed a quiet lunch at Mt Fuji today. Started with chef's choice nigiri appetizer which was nice and fresh (the tuna and salmon were especially good today), and the perfect small plate to get us hungry for more. I ordered the katsudon and my partner the miso ramen. The katsudon was good, I do like my egg a little runnier and my pork a little crispier, so I might ask if they could take it up a little early next time, but the pork cutlet was tender and the sauce has that beautiful sweet/savory thing going on that makes you want just keep eating. The miso ramen was standard fair, well executed. The pork was definitely the highlight. The broth, while flavorful, was a bit over seasoned. And speaking of over seasoned - the soy marinated egg, which I'm normally nuts for, was just too salty ?.
And I'm also sad to report the service today was less than stellar. I believe it took us longer to get our check and pay, than it did to eat. An off day perhaps. Overall, food was solid. Will be back to sample more sushi, and stoked to see origami sake on the menu.

This is a local favorite that is close to home. So glad to see they are back after the storms.

Lots of authentic vegetarian rolls. All the sushi is top notch quality. Generous portioning for nigiri and rolls at a reasonable price. The other dishes like the katsu don are very good and a nice value for what you get. On top of all that, the staff and owners are very friendly, always very welcoming and attentive. This is my family's favorite japanese restaurant in Little Rock. Try the Natto!!!

Been a long time fan of this place with my regular order, but as of tonight, I’m a new fan of sitting at the bar! Will is great and makes THE BEST drinks I’ve/weve ever had, is so personable, and now we want to always sit at the bar!

This Mt Fuji is not the one before the tornado hit Little Rock. I’d rather say that it’s a brand new restaurant: different ownership, different decorations, and different styles. We tried some rolls and appetizers that were not serviced by the old Mt Fuji, they were awesome! But, the ramen was not that good. The ramen soup was good, just a little bit too greasy for us; the ramen itself was not chewy. Anyway, we looking forward to trying all their food in the future. P.S. I miss the grocery store in the old Mt Fuji as well.

Absolutely the best sushi experience I’ve ever had! The food is exceptional! We had the Japanese Wagu and it is worth every penny. Expect one of the owners to show up, we met Yusuke! He came to our table and showed his passion for the amazing food they serve and the certificate of authenticity of the cow! When you leave a restaurant smiling you know you’re coming back! If you’re in Little Rock you have to go to Mt. Fuji steakhouse! You definitely won’t regret it.

They served by far the best ramen I have ever had in the US. I have tried their tonkotsu ramen today and it was perfect. The broth was flavorful and the char siu pork belly melts in my mouth. Oishi!

I think it was our favorite Japanese-style restaurant in Little Rock. Less expensive than Kemuri but potentially better quality or simply better preparation. Friendly service and it's always fun to sit at thr sushi bar. We tried a few hot and cold items, but the nigiri were probably the best items we had: the eel, tuna, and hamachi. I'm always iffy on rolls because sometimes things are over-fried or have too many sauces and you can't taste the seafood, which kinda happened with the spicy shrimp roll but it still was pretty good. Will definitely go back.

I can't believe I've been missing out on Mt. Fuji. They have the best salmon nigri I've had since moving to Little Rock, I was spoiled in L.A with tons of sushi options. The sushi rice is seasoned perfectly. The temperature of the salmon was perfect and so buttery! The hot tuna roll was also great. I like a saucy roll every once in a while, and wow, the volcano roll delivered. We also ordered the veggie tempura(wish they had a mixed tempura, missing the shrimp) lightly battered and fried just right! I have so much more I need to try, but it's safe to say this is now my favorite japanese/sushi establishment. The atmosphere felt nice, love the decor, the service was also nice. We went on a Wednesday evening, and it was lively but not crowded.
