Mt. Fuji is one of my favorite spots! The food is always fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is top-notch. Teddy is especially wonderful—so friendly and welcoming, he makes every visit even better. Highly recommend!

The first time I went here being from Los Angeles and Boston, I was terrified of what I might eat for fish in a landlocked state. Turns out that stereotype is BS.

The quality of the fish here was fantastic. My friends ordered a sashimi bowl and some tempura to start. Both easily rivaled dishes I've paid twice or three times as much for in Los Angeles in New York.

An excellent sake menu and featuring a local brewery here in Arkansas called Origami sake. Grab a Japanese beer and have some Ramen sushi roll, yakisoba, or many other traditional dishes.

A great find if you need your sushi fix. ;)

I want to start with the positives. The sushi was delicious, and the hostess was excellent at getting us a table quickly during a busy time. The Alaskan and Sunshine rolls were absolutely amazing!

Unfortunately, the service after being seated was disappointing. We waited over 10 minutes before our server even greeted us, and it was clear she preferred tending to her other tables right next to us. When she finally came over, we ordered our drinks, appetizer, and entrees all at once, but after that she avoided our table almost entirely. She had no issue engaging with her other guests — with her back to us — but offered little attention to ours.

When we finished our meal, we ended up waiting far too long to be cashed out, which always leaves a bad final impression. It’s frustrating to end an otherwise great meal feeling like you’re being held hostage just to pay the bill.

This is, without a doubt, the best and most authentic Japanese restaurant in town. I've traveled across the country, dining at Japanese restaurants everywhere I go, but it's rare to find sushi of this quality—even in places like California or New York.

Mt. Fuji delivered a truly unforgettable experience for my dear friend’s birthday! 🌸 The food was exceptional, but the service stole the show—quite possibly the best in Central Arkansas. The staff was attentive, thoughtful, and made our entire party feel so special. We can’t wait to go back for another 5-star evening!

8 of us went there. It was amazing. Everyone had different meals. I like the volcano and the eel rolls. Definitely recommend! Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures of the plates alone.

Came here with a couple coworkers and had all sorts of sushi and sashimi and everything was just awesome! The sashimi is kind of expensive when you look at the menu but as you can see in my photos they give you a ton. That was 1 order of salmon and 1 order of scallop. Service was fantastic and fast. I really enjoyed this place. Who knew you could get great sushi in little rock! Thanks so much guys keep up the great food!

Mt Fuji was always a top pick go-to in Little Rock for sushi, but since the remodel/move, I am starting to think this may be the best sushi in town now. The prices are still comparable to other places but somehow they seem to have better fish and ingredients than every other place. I don't know how they do it, but I hope they keep doing it! The management is awesome btw, you can tell they really care about the sushi experience and the craft and taking care of customers!

Wonderful to eat here again. The Love Boat was delicious. Shout out to Ellen and the rest of the crew for excellent work. The Gin and Tonic was better than Good.

Update - New owners and the food isn’t as good. We’ve stopped making this a yearly place to eat on our way through Little Rock. Sad. Went from a 5 star to 3 star.

I really wanted to love this place.. but we sadly left very disappointed.
Our service took an insanely long time. It took nearly half an hour for us just to get our drinks, and in that time our server hadn’t even come over to take our food orders. When she did come over, she reeeeally pushed us getting an appetizer because it would be a while before we got our sushi, so we did. We went with the miso soup which was great!
We got two sushi rolls (can’t remember which ones, sorry!) and the rice not only tasted bad, but it was falling off the rolls before we even touched it.
Apparently this place used to be really good, and I have to wonder if the new ownership has anything to do with the decline? I hope they can figure it out, truly! The price we paid for the quality we received means we won’t likely be back :(
