this restaurant is just disappointing, I went specifically for Japanese history, but alas! the ramen was just a parody, I haven't eaten something so tasty for a long time! the soybean sprouts were completely sour and smelled! the thing itself was objectively not bad, in general I won't set foot there again
My wife and I sat for 30 minutes watching people who came in after us get waited on (in the same section we were in) . We didn’t even get offered waters.
Great food, slow service, terrible management. Service has always been marginal but tolerable because the sushi is great. On our fourth visit there, Mother’s Day, we arrived at 6:45. Plenty of empty tables, sushi bar was empty, and only two people sitting at the other bar. We asked to sit at either of the bars, and the hostess said she needed to ask the manager. The manager said they are closing at 8, so they will not accept anymore patrons. We were turned away at 6:45. If you have empty tables, empty sushi bar, only two at the other bar, and are turning customers away at 6:45, you are not properly managing your business.
In my opinion the best japanese restaurant in Little Rock. Me and my wife used to come every week before leaving Arkansas. The ramens are amazing, the rolls are well prepared, traditional japanese entrees are generous and tasty, the appetizers are very well dressed. In addition the cozy the wooden Mt Fuji above the head gives a cozy atmosphere.
Thank you again for the excellent moments we had in your restaurant !
I got a lunch special with nigiri and roll of choice. Absolutely delicious, fresh food. Clean atmosphere. Clean restroom. Great service.
Best fried rice this side of Japan. Stationed in Japan for 7.5. years on 3 tours and this place takes me back. Yakisoba excellent as well. And the sushi 🍣 wow
Drew was fantastic!! Love this place!
We went for dinner recently, it wasn’t busy there were maybe 5 other tables and it took 40 minutes to get our entrees, our water never got refilled, and we were brought the wrong check. We might get food to go from there but won’t be dining in again.
First time trying sushi. Had a excellent experience. Very accommodating, friendly service, and extremely delicious food. Highly recommend!
Love it!!

Food was great! Soup was hot and sushi was extremely fresh. We had a great server, “thanks Skip for great work.” If you are looking for authentic Japanese fare in Little Rock, don’t hesitate to stop here. By the way, we came a lunch and were served and seated quickly.
Same great service and food as the old location! The new layout is amazing and creates a great dining experience. Glad they are back!
Best Sushi in Little Rock by far.
Would be 5* if their kitchen staff was as good as tier bar staff (basically the one bar tender). Food is excellent, but they get overwhelmed with to go tickets, so even if the restaurant is half full, you may be waiting an hour for food. The one bar tender they have is excellent and will bend over backwards to make you happy. Figure out kitchen efficiency and it’s the best sushi restaurant in Little Rock
Definitely will visit again!
Excellent experience.
