In spite of our reservation, once seated it took some time to be recognized by a server. After taking our beverage order we were served right away. Our assigned server was the bartender as we arrived. Our order was for a classic Benedict. We expected Canadian Bacon but the menu said smoked ham. It was difficult to cut and mostly tasteless. Very disappointed as all our previous visits were excellent.
The champagne dinner was a wonderful event that allowed us to enjoy dinner at One Eleven again, which we have missed! It was excellent food, paired with amazing wine, and executed flawlessly. I can't wait to attend another one.
The event was a wine dinner with a set menu. The food was absolutely spectacular. It consisted of a 5-course meal where every part was right to the point. Too bad that this restaurant does not serve dinner anymore (although the manager said they are talking about restarting). I really hope so and that they can keep the same chef.
