Visited the platnum BBQ for a quick bit. The cashier recommended the shredded beef brisket sandwich with a side of beans which cost me $18.99 after tax. Honestly I was not really impressed with the sandwich for these reasons:
1- The sandwich was full of bbq sauce.
2- The sauce is a little too sweet for me.
3- There was no pickles.
4- The bread was soggy.
5- The meat was cold.
Furthermore, I asked for a fountain drink cup and they gave me a large plastic container. As a business, this is not acceptable for two reasons:
1- the plastic container you gave was more expensive than a paper cup.
2- I had to throw out my drink because it did not have a lid.
Finally, I will say the customer service was great! The individual who helped us was welcoming, friendly, and easy going.
The big question is, will I visit again??
NO, THANK YOU.

My complaint is very clear this restaurant will nickel and dime you to death on everything. Fountain drinks were not working because if you want a refill they are going to charge you again. We got dressing turkey dressing and was charged for each cup of cranberry sauce.. Just beware because I will not be back . And then they had the nerve to ask for a tip on no service. No way !!!!!!

I always order their beef tips, they're the best out there! Service does take a while so that's my only complaint.

Well this is my honest review. I'm very upset with my food I just pick up for my Thanksgiving meal for my family 😡😤 it wasn't worth what I paid for at all. man my Mac and cheese is horrible the noodles is mushy. now I have to go make my own when I spend 400 plus dollars on a meal I have to redue I'm very mad.. this is my honest review. I give good and bad reviews I'm not going to lie about anything. They get a 4star for me. I'm mad
This is a great spot if you like bbq and are in the area. The prices are reasonable and there were many options for mains, sides, and desserts. The pulled pork sandwich and the sauce they put on it was very good. When I went up to get some peach cobbler, they offered me a fresh sample of beef tips (cooked very well) and I was not disappointed. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and not too crowded despite it being noon. The music was very on point in my opinion. Overall, if you are in the area and looking for some delicious bbq with that home cooked feel, this is the place to go.

Being back in my home state meant a chance to visit lots of family and also to play tourist and visit the Clinton library. Since our plans to eat at the library fell through, my friend and our families were looking for a nearby place to grab a quick lunch and return to the library. This place was not only nearby, but turned out to be a pretty good place to eat. The food was quite good and the portions were quite generous. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries and baked beans. All the food was tasty and the service was great. We tried not to get too full and just wants naps after lunch, but it was difficult since we enjoyed our lunch here.

I had purchased the Philly steak meal and the steak look like the steak-umm that they sell at the grocery store And the peach cobbler that I ordered it didn’t look too appetizing. It seemed like it had peach turnover crust that they sell at the store and this was my first time purchasing a meal and last from Platinum barbecue

This food is great been there several times to to try different dishes the ribs is good. The pulled chicken is good. The pulled pork I would give a 7 out of 10, the turkey wings a 6 out of 10, the neck bones ..wow they great a 10, This food did not give me no headache most soul-food places uses msg or too much salt, not this place, I feel good eating it, and also I love their cabbage the owner is very friendly and engaging.

This is the best place to eat! Every thing is wonderful! Especially the Philly Steak sandwich... It is the best I have had outside of South Street in Philadelphia. Absolutely great food, service and atmosphere.
