Red Snapper Fish & Chicken

I had an extremely disappointing experience at your establishment that compels me to share my concerns. I placed an order and waited over 15 minutes for food that typically takes no more than 5 minutes to prepare. When I arrived to pick it up, Casey, who had taken my order, acknowledged the delay and handed me my food with an apology.

However, as I was leaving, another individual—later identified as the owner's brother—came out from the back and confrontationally asked if I noticed how many orders they were working on. I was taken aback by his aggressive tone, but calmly responded that I had been here before and had never encountered such delays. Rather than de-escalate, he continued raising his voice.

Out of concern, I checked my food before leaving and—unsurprisingly—it was cold. At that point, I requested a refund. Both Casey and the owner's brother began to process the return, but when they saw I had paid by card, the brother suddenly refused to complete it. I asked for a reason, especially since there were no signs posted indicating a “no refund” policy, nor was anything to that effect printed on my receipt.

The owner's brother then called the owner (Mohammed or Mahmud) and explained the situation. The owner, rather than showing any concern, dismissively stated, “If you can wait 15 minutes at McDonald’s, you can wait here.” That level of disrespect is unacceptable—especially considering that. I don't eat at McDonald's. Casey then informed me they also own Shark’s and that this is simply how they conduct business—no refunds, no accountability.

For the record, that kind of policy is exactly why I do not patronize Shark’s.

In the end, although the police were called (and never arrived), Casey was able to convince me to allow them to remake the food, which they did. Still, the damage was done. Between the poor service, the unprofessional confrontation, and the refusal to honor a basic refund for cold food, I will not be returning. And now that I’m aware of the questionable business practices, I will make sure others are aware as well.

I get take out and the food is always delicious and fresh!!! Everyone is polite and easy going! It’s one of my favorite drive throughs plus the best catfish and great fried shrimp!!! Yum!!!

Very hot and fresh. Staff are friendly and are willing to do subs for coleslaw which I appreciate. The food is well seasoned. Small place though.

Menu outside and inside isn’t the best sight.. Needs repaired but the food is always so hot like to the point where it could burn you when you receive it so be careful. Chicken tenders are some of the best I’ve tasted in Little Rock….! Family meal deals are great for the price and the amount you receive. The guy running drive thru is friendly. Always good to call before you go because it takes 10 minutes at least since every order is cooked FRESH. Fried okra is amazing as well.

Fantastic hole in the wall fish joint. I haven't got any burgers or sandwiches from there but the catfish is fantastic. I'll eat here anytime I'm close.

The food was delicious and the customer service was awesome, but for the portion I bought, it did not worth price. They being stingy with gizzards and they ain't even that high in the store.
