This place is consistently good. Their customer service has always been very friendly and helpful. I like the sushi (they can seriously fry stuff, so anything with tempura in it) and husband and son like the hibachi. I've heard that their fried rice is a little greasy... And I don't disagree but it's got really great flavor. The only real complaint I might have is their sake selection is lacking, but I figure not many folks around here would care lol. If you're looking for good, solid, standard sushi/hibachi fare in West Little Rock, then this is your place.Dietary restrictions: Celiac sister gives it a thumbs upKid-friendliness: The staff are helpful and accommodating towards kids, and willing to help find something for a picky eater. My littles love their teriyaki chicken and fried rice.
This is my second time ordering food from Samu Bar Sushi Hibachi. This time, my order of Salmon Roll and White Tuna Roll did not include ginger and wasabi which without it, makes eating the sushi roll dull. The Combination Rice was dry and without the sauce, I don't think I would have liked it. This time around for me it's a 3 star rating on for and a 2 star rating on Service. I would recommend Samu Bar Sushi Hibachi but I would suggest to the staff, prior to tying the bag, have someone check the order before the customer comes to pick up the order. For me, I will now open the bag, confirm that everything is there e.g. all condiments before I leave the restaurant. But I will probably be back.
Amazing place we tried to eat at Benihana but we waited on a waiter for 20min and they didn't say a word but this place was on the ball service immediately and the food was amazing, the hibachi was very well seasoned and cooked extremly well, but the sushi was delicious its hard to find good sushi anymore to me so thanks for giving me a new spot
I got the Jonney’s Lover and Crazy Tuna roll to go. Although the Jonney’s Lover roll was good, the crazy tuna roll was so dry. Overall, I wasn’t impressed with what I got and for the price of around $40, it wasn’t worth it.

Food was good, my fried rice was a little lacking. My steak was so tender and my soup came out hot! Salad had a good amount of dressing. My drink tasted like I was on the ocean!
